Shad and salmon spawning is irrelevant to the operation of VY...this is so professionally irresponsible for an environmentalist.

The rise of the temp. of the water starts under the bridges in Brattleboro from the homeless relieving them selves of cheap booze. There is a P in the pool

It is a virtual lake where the outlet is. At one point the river is a half mile wide. The fish can tell the temperature and they will do what fish everywhere do...swim to cooler spots along the river like deep channels, shady spots, outlets of streams...all those places we know it is good fishing in the summertime.

We are all environmentalists. David Deen is a professional gadfly. Ask him if he wants to close VY even if they don't put cooling water in the river.

This isn't news; this is a former fishing buddy doing his buddy a favor during election season.

Windham officials oppose wind project

http://www.wcax.com/story/19416475/windham-of...

Vernon VT (Windham County) hosts a nuclear power station and a hydroelectric station, how exactly is an industrial wind project going to benefit our county? Why not instead start the planning phase /permitting process to build another base load power station in Vernon; we already have the new VELCO switchyard in place. It makes no sense at all to compromise VTís green spaces for these low return projects. What we need is domestic, centralized base load power and Vernon is already prepared to host it.

I donít think tons of windmills will compromise the green spaces to any big degree...it will just jack up the price of electricity where we canít use as much as we need.
