Probably not all it's raising. Perverts must be packing and heading for Vermont. Seriously, some young person will get hurt if this continues.

Doesn't sound like they are causing any real harm. Hopefully such actions won't result in a ban on nudity. I think it's great the people in that community are handling it in a mature manner.

I guess it would be daring and a rush to do such a thing.

Shhit ~ I'd do it. I know I got what it takes to pull that off and that's guts!

Any eyebrow raising in the room???

(Heck yeah!)---> I like what I see.

I support the teens in their nude a thon. To be nude, or not, should be personal choice of the individual. No much of our person freedom is lost or being lost by nuts in some government body. Again, I support the teens in their right to self expression and hope you will also!!

Guess what? We all have a human body and there is nothing wrong with putting God's creation on display. It's like a mirror. If you think it's wrong than there is something wrong with you since you must think the body is bad or for bad things. America, home of the "free", is so uptight it kills me. If you took pics at the demonstration you could even be prosecuted for child porn. In Europe they even have a teen magazine with nude teens from age 16 talking about their sexual experiences. < http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/news/magaz... ;. Uptight American would say, "My, that's a terrible influence". It's no wonder "America" has a much "higher" teen pregnancy rate and teen STD rate than the UK... we live in denial (85 out of 1,000 U.S. young people ages 15 to 19 become pregnant, compared with 16 out of every 1,000 in Germany).

Well done the young people of Brattleboro! A world first I think. Only by such courageous public action will archaic and baseless fears of nudity be dispelled. Nudity of itself has NOTHING to do with sex. It is time this centuries-old notion, so deeply embedded in the national psyche, is banished forever.

To that I say..."Bra-vo". We need a little more of that liberal thinking here in the midwest.

I ditto that Bravo! And here's to hoping the town of Brattleboro and it's leaders realize that there are many more of us "silent majority" out here that are thinking "there's nothing wrong with being just naked... just live and let live!" than people that are shocked... I also applaude the City Council, Police, etc. for not over reacting and trying to adopt/enforce something overnight to forbid the free expression of these young adults. They're just naked for goodness sakes! Relax! Way to go Brattleboro! Now could you teach Seattle???:-)

Nobody is saying that anybody should disrobe if they don't wish to but some people are more comfortable with their bodies and are better able to distinguish between simple nudity and the needless shame that so many feel about their own bodies. There's nothing nasty or perverted about nudity. I personally hate clothes and wouldn't wear anything much of the time if I didn't have to. It's not that I'm that eager to have anybody look at my fat old wrinkled butt, I just don't like being confined by clothing. We have become accustomed to seeing and accepting many more liberal attitudes in recent years and I hope that this is a continuation of this trend.

I see that you don't understand the subject about nudity. I think you should go ahead and learn more about being natural. Being natural is not sex. Were you born dressed?
