Why don't you explain what "smart" means then.

Once again here we are unable to have an intelligent discussion about anything because you are a juvenile fool who gets his jollies by playing juvenile word games that aren't even clever. Except to juvies like you. You and your friends still telling each other knock knock jokes?

Apparently your idea of an intelligent conversation is to post a link to a mindless rant with no actual insight of your own for the sole intention of trolling the forum. Bravo.

If you would like to start a discussion of certain facts or aspects of Cramer's "analysis", feel free to be proven wrong yet again.

Nice to see a new alt, I thought you had given up.

I would be insulted by what you said except that I know you have never had an intelligent conversation and wouldn't know one if you saw one. To you it is intelligent to post insults and dodge questions and act like the 16 year old troll that you are. I posted Cramer's article. I agree with the content. If you don't agree why don't you just say so and why. Of course that would be an intelligent thing for you to do and as stated above you don't know how so I know that my question is just a rhetorical question that you won't respond to except with a dodge or insult.

I see you are still an ignorant ideologue, no wonder you couldn't provide any additional insight.

Here's a quote from Cramer's article with you have stated that you agree with.

"Yesterday a University of Texas study showed that the government was dramatically overstating the methane leakage and that it wasn't even a real issue. "

Here's what what the people who actually did the study had to say.

"-Found that the majority of hydraulically fractured well completions, which were sampled during the study, had equipment in place that reduces methane emissions by 99 percent. Because of this equipment, methane emissions from well completions are 97 percent lower than calendar year 2011 national emission estimates, released by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in April 2013.

-Found that emissions from certain types of pneumatic devices are 30 percent to several times higher than current EPA estimates for this equipment; combined, emissions from pneumatics and equipment leaks account for about 40 percent of estimated national emissions of methane from natural gas production.

-Found that the total methane emissions from natural gas production, from all sources measured in the study, were comparable to the most recent EPA estimates"

Let me know if I need to spoon feed you anything else.

Oh my goodness, sticking your neck out like that must hurt. What Cramer was referring to was the grossly exaggerated estimates from the EPA made and reported 2011 and 2012 that under pressure from the private sector they reduced to a much smaller exaggeration in "the most recent estimates" reported in 2013. Gotcha.
"Mark my words, we are going to crucify our nation on a cross of renewables.
It's insanity."

Any true free thinking person, a liberal, would be totally in favor of this. Instead we are burdened with the nutty "man is bad" liberals. Are you still one of the latter? If you were really into science you would drop them like a stone and get real.

So Cramer is actually referring to something he couldn't be bothered to put in print. Gotcha. Cramer is a hack and a liar. The authors of study he refers to contradict him.

What you can't seem to understand is that the new EPA rules are working in reducing extraction emission.

Keep spinning dummy.

The information in those studies as detailed by the links you posted confirm what he said. You just missed the obvious in your sneering attempt to get at me. You lack the intellectual capacity to handle a debate like this. You should throw in the towel and stick to insulting people.

The EPA is full of environmental zealots and the private sector must be aware that the EPA has an agenda which is dictated by the religion of renewables. Here is some more nonsense.

Cramer is one of the most respected analysts on Wall St. He is a genius by any measure. You calling him a hack and a liar is consistent with your inexperienced teen age troll behaviour. Good luck getting some respect for that. But you don't really care if anyone respects you, do you?

Please find anything in that study that supports what Cramer actually wrote, not what you are trying to spin it to say.

Your repetition of a vague, indefensible statement made by an entertainer as some form proof of an "intellectual discussion" only highlights how intellectually bankrupt you are.

Perhaps we could ask Tom Brady or Justin Bieber to sum up the role of methane releases from natural gas production in one sentence. It would just as useful.

You already posted it. You are like a little child who just keeps repeating over and over again "no it doesn't, not it doesn't, no it doesn't". Time to grow up. You just had your head handed to you. Don't be a sore loser.

Are you seriously comparing Justin Bieber to Jim Cramer? You must be a belieber. As for Brady. He is a lot smarter than you so maybe we should ask him. It wouldn't surprise me if he knew a lot about it. Clearly you know about as much as Bieber does.

You really ought to reread your posts you fire off before you fire them up. You smoke pot? That might explain some of the stuff you post if you did.

I'll admit Brady probably knows more about methane than Cramer but that's like saying I know more than you. It's not that meaningful when you set the bar so low.

Keep dodging and insulting since that's all you are capable of.

How do you know what Brady knows about methane? You are lying again. One thing is for sure you know nothing about Methane. I haven't dodged anything.

How does it feel to pick up your head off the floor after I chop it off. This is fun. Every time you actually try to say something I knock your head off.

How come so many people judge your posts as "nuts"?

Apparently Cramer isn't the only person who thinks this:

"Natural-gas drilling sites aren’t leaking as much methane into the atmosphere as previous estimates suggested. The first major, onsite study of emissions might be a major boost for the gas industry. The study was led by researchers at the University of Texas and partially funded by the advocacy group Environmental Defense Fund. It’s likely to ease concerns about the effects of natural gas drilling on the climate."
