When will people learn not to dive into the rivers and quarries? They are dangerous and unfortunately so many people die because of this.

So am I understanding this correctly, was this man with his friends and were they jumping off the bridge into the water for fun? Or did he go there to commit suicide? Not meaning anything disrespectful to the man, but the article doesn't sound too clear.

Yeah, cuz it's hot times, summer in the city. Would you prefer they unplug a fire hydrant and get water splashed all over your car?

first reports that came in said they were from Pa side...River Rd...when a call goes out from a cell phone along 611 in Lower Mt. Bethel...they connect you with Warren County Sevices, who then connects you to Monroe and maybe in 15 minutes time they get it right and go to Northampton County's center...UGH!

What about the KIDS that go to Penn Pump along the Bushkill Creek and jump from the top of the waterfall there and into "a creek"....and then the newspaper glorifies it by putting pictures in the paper about the kids having fun....how deep do people think this creek is?

I prefer that you go to a community pool or buy a fan. Just stay out of areas where you don't belong!

Fish and Game Commission has no jurisdiction in anything that doesn't have to do with boating, fishing, or hunting....

The Fish and Game officers have more legal authority then a state police officer.
They can chase you from any waterway or forest for any reason they wish to.
And they can search you or your vehicle without a warrant.
Try ignoring their orders to leave an area some time.
You will be arrested before you can say boo.
LOL!

Who cares what side of the river! There is a family standing along that river waiting to hear something. Just like i was one month to the day. When my nephew fell from a canoe. And we were standing just like them for 12 hours. my heart goes out to the family. my prayers our with you.

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
