Who is that little old lady with the hunchback that always walks up and down main street near Sunoco? She always picks up garbage and never seems to have anywhere to go. I recently seen her with a walker on the side of the road in the slushy snow on Main during traffic rush hour. Does she have someone taking care of her or at least checking up on her?

Vicky's family has nothing to do with her! She lives alone and takes care of herself. A very nice lady!

Someone otta give her a bag to put the trash she picks up. I've seen her bend over, pick one up and drop one in the process. She never noticed it either. And yes, we all know her efforts are futile. People will never get it, to stop littering. I know a young man who rented an apt and the street he was on was in a large city, and not such a disirable neighborhood either. Anyways his mother (my friend) told me that the street was so litter free, it was noticable. Yes, its in a bad part but at least the home owners take pride in the outside, making the street a welcome sight to drive down.

thanks everyone! I drop my kids off at day care a few times a week and I seen her every time I was there, especially all of last summer. I thought she might be lonely because she does nothing but walk up and down the street. I always say hi to her. I felt terrible that day I seen her in the slush with a walker. I didn't know if maybe she is all alone and had to go out to the store to get something, or something like that... I think the next time I see her I will make it a point to talk to her, maybe ask her if she wants to stop at that restaurant next to day care for a coffee... I always think like, one day that could be my mom out there and I might not know, so I am always as nice I as I can be. I even check on my elderly neighbor too...:)

i'm sure talking to her and giving some of your time would make her happy. never hurts to reach out and sometimes emotional support changes the day for both giver and recipient. it's the small and thoughtful things that people remember.

She lives at laurel terrace alone. She never has anyone visit her. It's a shame how family can drop someone off at a home and leave them there. I work there, she is a very nice lady who would love some new friends, she cleans the town because she enjoys getting out of her small apartment .
