That's a great way to recruit people to religion. And people wonder why so many don't believe. Blind faith is exactly that. Open your eyes, think, then speak.

Religion is nothing more than an organized cult. Plus its funny arent you relgious people sinning as doesnt it state somewhere in the bible it is a sin to idolize? So idolizing your so called god and the so called holy son you are therfore all sinners and going to hell.

You love the god that man told you to love. You love a god that people will kill others over a disagreement in faith when this god commanded you to love your enemy. You religious hypocrites should read your bible and follow it instead of doing what a man on the alter tells you to do.

my - you are gutsy. i do believe the first sin - original sin - was the sin of pride. that would be someone believing they were greater or wiser than GOD.
fundamentalism - is belief in the bible / religion does not necessarily encompass fundamentalism.
the man on the altar (note spelling) is a priest.
as far a s false (FALSE) faith , how can that be? you acknowledge there is a GOD - therefore you acknolwlege GOD.
that is ok - you are entitled to your opinion!

I was only pointing out that there are many people who follow religion blindly. They say they know god is real, yet cannot tell you much about his written word. Hence the name false faith. That annoys me beyond anything. Religion has changed like the tides over human history. People used to worship multiple gods, then one god. People misuse religion to justify their cause, kill others and gain control over others. All of these are against the principles that Jesus taught his disciples. Jesus didn't fight when he knee he would die, and he commanded his disciples not to fight. How has the Christian faith followed that over the last two thousand years?

Mostly, I feel religion is a tool to exploit people. Pay up, or you do not gets gods favour. Believe what you are told but do not ask questions. Most religions have beliefs and rules that are not based out of the bible they supposedly believe in. For instance, in first Corinthians, Paul said that prophecy would end, yet there are religions who believe there are still signs and prophecies to be had today. The pick and choose mentality of a majority of Christian religions is contradictory to what Jesus taught. If people read their bible, they would know this. They would knkw that the common voew of hell, purgatory and heaven came from a poem written by dante in the early 1300s, not the church. They would question their religious leaders and grow a bit spiritually.

when you eplain your point of view in that manner - you have made, in my opinion, some very valid points. i agree with some of them. yes, many people believe dante' inferno (dante alighieri - the divine comedy) is a true picture. that being said and done - thank you for taking the time to rephrase. i believe all people should respect each other's point of view and i respect yours.
