Police said the attack happened about 3:30 p.m. on Woodbury Road.

Witnesses said three people were walking down the street when a pit bull and an English bulldog came out from a nearby home and attacked a 35-year-old man.

Rescue crews said the victim was taken to an area hospital.

The victim's friends said he was bitten on the ankle and other parts of his body, causing him to bleed badly.

"The dogs were gonna kill him. The dogs were going to kill him if I wouldn't have ran up with the stick. They was going to kill because they some big healthy dogs," Corey Kelly, a friend of the victim, said. "I was still running looking up there and I was, like,'I can't let this dog do my homeboy like that.'"

Kelly said he picked up a stick to fend off the dogs.

"I started swinging at the dog. And they just ran off," Kelly said. "He was just, like,'I'm bleeding too bad.' He was, like,'Just let me go for a minute. I can't move. I can't move.'"

One of the dogs' owners told WAPT 16 News, "We accept full responsibility for everything. We did not mean for it to happen."

The owners said somehow a gate was broken and the dogs were able to escape from there. The owners said sometimes the pets can be provoked if people run.

Woo HOO CD your back. I missed your constant babbling and trips into insanity. Really!!! I so enjoy seeing you discredited. Sometime I'm the one of me who can post the truth. I love it.
Thanks ban coconuts for saving me time on this bogus story. I was actually researching another outright lie.
Don't know if all of me remembers when CD called herself Community Service. She was trying to get out of shoveling the snow around a fire hydrant in front of her house. She told a story about a law suit she won. I suspected the story was not true. She started telling it as if she sued, then said someone else did and she inherited his money when he died. With the little break in the regualar BS I made a little phone call to the court house and asked them to check some records. GUESS WHAT. I'm sure none of me will be surprised but it was ALL BS. What a surprise. That was a fantasy land story. OUTRIGHT LIAR OUTRIGHT LIAR That is a documented verifiable fact.
