You wrote Morningside would be opening July 4. When I called about housing options, the construction company told me they were shooting for a September opening. I think someone from your show told me that too, when i called.

Thanks Jim for giving me the Morningside info. I sent you an email from that site about the condos & townhomes. I can't wait to get back to the Branson area in November of this year. We want to come back to the JB Show and also see Dino in his Christmas program....this is why we are waiting to return later.

Dear Jim,
Sorry your getting bad posts from angry people. I am in Florida and watch the show. You and Lori make me feel better and give us hope. I can only dream of living in such a beautiful community as the one you are building. I have been watching the realization of a dream community where people hopefully care about eachother and it is peaceful and inspiring. Maybe we'll get a chance to come and visit. Good Luck. So a couple of people have posted here, complaining that they gave money to PTL and got ripped off or whatever. Well, they should have been giving that money to the Lord, not to Jim Bakker. If I give money to a church or ministry, I am giving it because I feel the Lord has asked me to, and it is between me and God. What the ministry does with it, for good or ill, is between them and God. I gave it as an act of worship to my God, not to please some person.

Anyway, I never followed PTL, but people who still have so much bitterness toward Jim Bakker either don't know the Lord, or they know him but don't really believe in forgiveness, and the Lord says if you do not forgive, you yourself will not be forgiven. God is not a God of bitterness, seething resentment or a vengeful spirit, but a God of mercy, forgiveness, love and peace.

Jeff and Leslie you both have a Christian attitude. What a shame others point fingers and are judgemental at that which they really don't know about ALL the facts. Jim has been forgiven and that is all that matters in the eyes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jim has been restored, as God is a God of restoration. It's not been an easy road for Jim, but because of God's grace, Jim has made it through those valleys and tribulations. If Billy Graham opened his arms to Jim Bakker, than do others condem Billy Graham for embracing Jim? I don't think so.
Anyway, I'm happy to see Jim doing what God has laid upon his heart to continue doing so much for the Kingdom.
We love you Jim and we'll see you in November. I treasure your teachings daily, so keep it up!

Jim, I know it must hurt when people that don't have there facts straight, show there IQ here. I have a baby brother that belongs to Jimmy Swagarts church and this past week he came for a visit. I had "The Jim Bakker Show" on and he said "You giving him money again, I thought he was in jail?" (IQ problem) after your show I played my tape "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" for him then I read from your book "I was Wrong." My brothers IQ problem is almost gone. He said when he gets home he wants to talk to Jimmy. Like I said to him, Jesus is coming soon, Get ready. Judge the way you want to be judged.

For those of you that think Jim Bakker committed fraud, stoled money from his supporters at PTL....watch May 25th show, which was taped a week earlier..I think. Jim speaks of what actually happened to him. If you are listening to negative people, then it's about time you really learn the truth. No it's not made up truth or hype. Be open minded and listen. We all are to easy to condemn someone without knowing EXACTLY what happened.

Jim, I too watched PTL from the beginning and I don't really know what happened but I do know how easy it is to be made a scapegoat for others greed. Bless you and your work at morningside, don't ever lose that sense of urgency for the lost, and know that though I may never have the means to meet you, I believe in what the Lord is accomplishing through you.
