The shows in the mall are FANTASTIC! The Neil Diamond tribute is a must see along with the 50's show with Marvin Short. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Ghost mall, ghost town, it's all the same.

The economy is keeping the dollars home and the lack of family entertainment is driving the tourists to greener pastures.

It's back to sipping on a jug under a shade tree with your old hound, Branson folks, the glory days are fading fast!

While I agree that Branson will no longer be the place where an act of 'moderate talent' will find a place to thrive, I do think it will remain an attraction and that people will still come to Branson for vacation.

Changes are coming. We'll have fewer shows, and they wont be as extravagant, but the staples aren't going anywhere.

look at how well the Starlight is doing these days - 3 years ago, that place was practically hopeless.

About the Branson Mall - The center of the mall now seats like 200 people and the performers on Center Stage are not only professional FABULOUS acts, but are racking it in. That's right, Say What! On any given day that place is packed. We hear performers are waiting in line to get on Center Stage. The Neil Diamond Tribute is truly a don't miss act while in town and was sold out when we were there. I guess it's the first show in the mall to do that in like 8 years! Top 10 Rock n Roll with Marvin Short also a must see! We've seen all the shows and go to the mall everytime we're in town.

I think "Branson Mall Fan" has been sniffing too much floor cleaner (left over after they get done scrubbing the floors at the mall).

The Branson Mall theatre is nothing more than a place for transient no chance wanna-be's to earn enough to stay in one of the strips many flea bag motels.
TheBIG problem with the Branson entertainment business is that nothing changes and everything stays the same.
Who wants to pay money to hear someone pretend to sing like a famous person?

The strip reminds me of the main drags outside of a military base. Nothing but neon signs and sleezebags selling crap and wanna-be homeless people with guitars and fiddles pan handling for a buck

We visited Branson on Memorial Day weekend. We discovered many of the long-time local shows discontinued and rooms were plentiful. I read some of the past reviews, some I agree with, most were not accurate. However, the shows at "Center Stage" in the Branson Mall were great! I will agree in years past the talent here was beginner rate at best. But this year, it was as good as any in town. Without the flair and glare of the show lights you hear good raw talent like Brothers South (Everly, Righteous, etc.), "Sting" Ray (a good variety of Latino, including Ricky Valance), Shea Arender (Tribute to Elvis), all with a mix of good comedy. These are not up and coming newcomers, but veterans of Branson, taking their talents to what Branson used to be--family affordable entertainment city. There was no guitar smashing, smoke blowing machines (or people) out of control performers too stuck on themselves to know who their audience was. My hats off to them and the owners of the Mall. Their shows are good quaity, they interact with the audience, and are affordable. A great huge step in the right direction. Keep it up! Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won't be dissappointed.

I'm not sure what you mean by "ghost" and "so called mall". This theater and mall have never been a burden on a local bank, only to be "written off" on some corporations tax papers and donated to some charity, and true-the shops are small, without huge expensive LED billboards advertising their product. BUT, it is a mall, it is still there providing good entertainment, so it's NOT a "ghost". It may not fit your profile of social indulgence, but it's far from non-existent. Clean, basic, family-safe shows!
