Jim Bakker Show launched The Harbinger?

I think not. I just caught the program where he said he did. The book was written and on the shelves in 2011. Bakker saw Rabbi Cahn on Sid Roth's program in 2011 and heard him discussing the book at that time. I saw that program and it can be seen on U tube. The first printing had just about sold out before appearing on Bakker's show and a second printing was in the works when he arrived, knowing the book was a perfect fit for Bakker. I have read several of his other books and found them interesting. I was planning on picking up a used copy of The Harginger off the internet but won't now. I won't do it after watching him let Bakker lie like a rug. While I don't quite agree with all of his interpretations, I thought the Rabbi was an honorable man.

What do you see that is honorable?

Nothing now. A number of years ago, I attended service there in New Jersey with a friend who is a member of his congregation. I enjoyed the sermon and began to follow him on the internet. This is how I knew the book was released in 2011 on Sid Roth's weekly program. I can agree to disagree with fellow beievers over doctrine. I have a major problem with Bakker's infomercial program whose primary goal is to instill fear and fleece the sheep. I was shocked to hear the Rabbi and president of Charisma go along with this bold face lie. I have cancelled my subscription to Charisma. I know there are those that would find it just a little white lie but I consider it a major breach of trust. Have a good day.

I do not believe they are fleecing any sheep. Goats are not sheep.

Unbelievable. How anyone can speak evil of Rabbi Cahn or Steve Strang... I'm just at a loss for words. And who the Lord uses to reach people with this important message of the Harbinger for the end times is not anybody's concern - or it shouldn't be. Jim Bakker has given more air time to the Rabbi than anybody else. He has done this because he believes in the message and believes that it should get out to the church. He said on his program that it's the most important message he has ever been entrusted with in his 50 years of ministry. Yes, Sid Roth interviewed the Rabbi... so did Pat Robertson and others. But if Strang, the publisher, and Cahn, the author, give credit to Jim Bakker for the book's success, what's it to you? Can't you find some other worthy cause of concern other than falsely accusing good men of God who are doing their best to spread God's word?

There are no good men on Earth. No one of flesh and blood is good.

I have a question I would like to read what you have to say about it.

What do you think of people who call themselves Rabbi and expect you to do so to them... when you can read that it has been recorded that Jesus said to call no man Rabbi. Now I want you to keep in mind the very man they say they follow is the very man that said to not call them Rabbi.

What do you think of this?

Now after you tell me what you think about that.

Tell me what you think about all these TV Christians that you see on christian TV channels who are calling other men Rabbi professing to preach the Gospel and be of God and follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

All the time doing something in plain view that is recorded in the same book that they profess to be the Word of God...that Jesus told you not to do?

Give me your thoughts upon this.

Well I find this guy a joke to be honest. I saw him on Bakker's program and both guys were telling one lie after another or should I say they used their "facts" to justfy a position that was so far from the truth it was amazing. I saw this Rabbi on the program where he explained his book the Harbinger and I would NOT buy his book...too many untruths. I sat with my computer as both Cahn and Bakker spouted facts and researched while the program was running. Most of the things mentioned were either half truths or outright not true at all. It is sad cause about the most they are doing is creating fear.

Jim bakker is a crook.....i wouldnt get involved with anything he is doing. Teachers who molest children and go to jail can't become teacher again. He is in the exact same position he was in before prison, I am sure he will steal money again.

How anyone could take Jim Bakker seriously before or after he was caught and sent to jail amazes me. He was married to Tammy Fae for Christ sake! Anyone that would wake up in the morning and see a Circus Clown laying next to them obviously is unstable.

If Jesus was here and he was supposed to reply to this post...I believe he would give you a stone and ask to cast the first stone.

Jim Bakker is not a crook and Rabbi is an honroable man. If anyone would listen to his words and not be so quick to cast a stone at him then you would hear that he is helping us by preparing us. I wanted to hear more from him because Jim believes so much that he gives his books for free! So there is no need to buy elsewhere because if you give a love gift you get the book for free.
