Hats off to the cop-aroos for the 17 arrests.
Now look close into your force for one fellow cop who tips off the cookers down in the Bend...Then you can bust the so called BIG Dogs in Stone!

Head to the bend and start kicking in doors on the Cookers!
These are the ones you want they like to get underage Stone county youths hooked on Meth then have them commit crimes for them and sell the drugs.
How about a center for youths in Stone Co instead of a big costly jail that sends underprivileged youths into a prison system.

Oh I know because Stone county makes money off of incarcerations they charge inmates for their time in jail...yikes
Big Bucks in Stone and I aint talking about Deer!

I agree with you "Concerned" regarding your "underage youth" comment except that meth is old news in Stone and Taney Counties. The new dirty drug is oxycontin. This drug is so much easier to obtain for the young an old alike thanks to the doctors who prescribe it. I think what is happening here is people are getting prescriptions and either taking a small amount to keep them satisfied and selling the rest to support their addiction. From what I've heard there is a "circle" of people around here who all know each other and who has the prescriptions. When I prescriptions come in the phones start ringing and the "mules" are sent out to sell this synthetic heroin. Unfortunately, as you suggest, these mules are easy to find in our local youth. They get a taste of this stuff and that's all it takes. The kids don't have a prescription, nor the money to pay for the street value of the drug, but after they get their taste and start feeling awful withdrawal symptoms if they don't have it on a regular basis they are easy targets for the people with the prescriptions, i.e "go sell these pills for me and I will provide you with some or give you a portion of the profit to buy your own from this other person I know who has a prescription." Take a look at the age differences in the people who were arrested the other day. Do you think teens and early 20 somethings would otherwise associate with these people in their 40s and 50s. I would bet the farm that if you drug test the young ones they will be dirty and have no prescription for the stuff. Look to see if any of them have health problems or have had recent injuries that would warrant such a strong pain medication. I doubt it. So where are they getting it? Look at the older ones and see what their health bill looks like and if they have the prescriptions. I actually do believe in our system of justice and think that, in the end, the courts and prosecutors will get this one right. How couldn't they? It's so obvious!! I think you will see many of the young ones in drug court after they spend some time in jail with a high bond. I doubt many of them will be able to get out anytime soon. And, hopefully, we will see some actual consequences for those who have the prescriptions. I'm sure they have addictions too, but they are much more culpable considering what they are doing with their prescribed drugs. And, finally, here's a thought...Who's giving these people their prescriptions? Do they have a legitimate reason? Are they getting refills over and over? This isn't like meth where you can go to WalMart and the convenience store and get all the ingredients you need. This is HEROIN!! You have to get it from a doctor!!

Yes indeedy they have an informant in stone county. That or they couldn't find their asses if you crammed uranium in them and handed them a geiger counter. There is no excuse to have a drug problem in Mcord bend. But its hard to bust them when they keep getting tipped off. Hell The prosecuter is going full blown to protect one of the biggest drug dealers in southern missouri. Way to go oh but wait. he gave a second time RAPIST 3 years probation HMMMMMMMM whats up MR selby. I think I know And sir I happen to have family in atlanta That is looking close at the Bs Injustice that gets served In your bs town. I Think you know who I am. I know every one has a job to do. But why when it Came to a second offense Rapist That enters a womans house and Rapes her at knife point do you refuse to give him jail time. Answer THAT bs. Oh wait the night it happened was halloween night and her little son was sleeping next to her because he was sick from the candy and he had to witness that attack and then saw how you did nothing about it. Oh and now your trying to take his life away for alledgedly as you say attacking one of mcCords cookers Sure sounds odd to me. Well I am going to spend all of my time searching Looking and snooping to find what it takes to put you in front of a federal judge. Because I firmly believe you need investigated. you and your judges and your law enforcement. you plainly violated civil rights when you let a rapist walk. what about that victim? she just did not matter huh. Mr selby you make me ill to my stomach . And one day you will answer to a higher authority for playing god

Yeah Stone county dont really care about drug dealers. They just like the public to think they do. I know someone that got busted with a meth lab had her 4 year old son and 2 other kids in the house and got a suspended sentence after finishing drug court. Mr Selby is really giving these people a bright future! What about their kids? Slap on the hand? Drug dealers need harsher punishments!

Apparently you do not have any idea how or what Stone county does for those who suffer from addiction. Do you have any idea the efforts they put out to find help for these individuals. I know from experience that they do not just lock them up. I have five years clean, a contributing part of society, living life again thanks to Stone county officials.

I heard they take the crackhead out back and take a rubber hose filled full of lead shot to them. After about 1/2 of that, they will never touch the drugs again.

I agree with you about harsher punishments for drug dealers.
Were the people charged with child endangerment hopefully so.

The very ones that are here to protect citizens seem to be turning their heads to what is really going on.
