King James Version beginning in verse 17 Jesus is confronted by the young wise men and as you correctly quoted His answer to the young man. In verse 23 Jesus continues on with this lesson. Hence the eye of the needle passages. The disciples in verses 24 and 26 do not understand His point so he continues to explain what just happened with the rich man on through verse 31. Once again, it is not the money. It's the fact that he was unwilling to leave the riches he had earned, or his land or his mother or whatever it is that stands in our way. and Jesus said, not Debbie said, Jesus said(my bible has red letters) BUT HE SHALL RECEIVE AN HUNDRED FOLD NOW IN THIS TIME........ If he would have left his riches behind he would have been blessed one hundred fold here on this earth in this life because..........GOD IS A GOOD GOD AND A REWARDER OF THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM. Read the whole passage in context, not just a verse. It can't get any plainer than that.
Sorry I meant young rich man, not young wise men. I have an in home day care and we learned about the wise men and the significance of the star this week. I am a little tired, It's been a long week!

If you are referring to Brother Moore's services, yes I have. I don't believe that I have ever met a more sincere man of God. I know that there are some preachers out there that prey on the unsuspecting. It saddens me that there are others who will judge someone only by what they have heard. He is an amazing teacher and a highly anointed man of God. His ministry believes into sowing into the lives of others. What some of these other bloggers are missing is that Jesus commissioned the disciples and those of us to follow, to go out into the world and preach the Good News. What better way than to give the word out for FREE. And why not have a tool (the airplane) that will get him where God wants him to be preaching the gospel. He has a calling to pastor a church and travel. He couldn't do that properly without the aid of a private jet. I have heard testimony after testimony from people abroad, and in our own country that could not have heard the word any other way than by Keith Moore's free downloads. By the way, the airplane that they had before this one they GAVE AWAY. This ministry is doing good. God is rewarding them for their faithfulness and charity. Others shouldn't be so harsh in their judgments. Frankly, we are warned not to judge at all.

Ms. Fox, I'll bet you still believe in Santa Claus too.

Why does he need an airplane, a man this close to god and annointed by him should be able to zip through the heavens at warp speed. You really think he is "annointed" by god? I thought Dick Cheney was the only one that thought that.

I do not teach my children santa claus. God is our provider in all areas of my family's life. It is evident in your comment how highly you esteem The Creator by giving Him lower case. I won't expect you to hold his servants at any higher a level. It's a shame. Keith Moore has given his life to do what The Almighty has called him to do. I have a couple of questions for all of you naysayers. How much of your life have you given to God? How much time and service do you give to sharing the Good News? How much of your hard earned money do you give to the poor? Service to Him is required of all of us. Not just ministers.

Since the Remington sold to another church group, that makes four now off the tax rolls. I would assume this one would be tax free also. Moore Life Ministries I hear is the owner. Go look up their website. They own a Citation V jet. You know you got to get around in a hurry to do the lords work. I'm sure he would expect no less than a speedy arrival for a "camp meeting"

I would think these outfits would operate without having to sell religion. Do what they do for FREE, and not charge. The Sight and Sound is a good example of a high priced religion. If they are sincere about spreading their good news, then spread it free of charge.

That is absolutely a fact. It has been pointed out more than once in this forum, but some people are trying to peg hole Keith Moore. As you said, if they only knew him, his church, his ministry they would know the truth. He is sincere in doing his part to fulfill Jesus' commission: to get the gospel out to as many people as possible. Glory to God!

I don't know why christians tend to think they owe non-believers anything for having "things". Things are not the blessing..they are a manifestation of the blessing which is the "empowerment" to prosper. Non-believers will prosper also only the have no mission for their wealth but themselves. That is part of what the scriptures say about having holes in your pockets. That is why non-believers have always said the church folk should be poor. Only those who continually criticize are poor in every area of their lives including and especially their minds and lifestyles. That is why they moan and groan and wimper because their own lives are most miserable that is why they strike out at those who work and believe for a great life and receive that great life.

Read Matthew 6:25-34, Deuteronomy 28:1-14, Proverbs 10:22, and others to stop all this argument. Which one of you will REALLY like to be POOR and SICK and MISERABLE? If you don't like these evils, would you like to wish them on your kids? NO. So, why would you think God will wish them on His kids, especially if those kids served Him. Some said Jesus went on foot everywhere. Wake up! Jesus never worried about money: he fed 5000 twice, got money from fishes mouth, had a treasurer, etc. Galatians 3:13-14: Jesus came to deliver us from the curse of the law (Deuteronomy 28:15-60), so why would those who truly serve God live in poverty! Read your BIBLE and BELIEVE what it says. Jesus' needs were met by God through those he saved and delivered from sin and misery. And the same thing goes on today. If you don't believe it, then don't judge others, which itself is a SIN! Now repent and allow God to open the door to you to receive ABUNDANCE - spiritually and materially! He is good, He's done it for me and others, and you are NEXT! Yield to HIM!

the very word "saved" in much of the New Testament means "saved, healed, delivered, protected, preserved, and made whole". In the Greek language the word is "sozo". Look at Abraham, God blessed him exceedingly - obviously God doesn't mind one bit His children having wealth; He minds wealth having His children. How is the gospel supposed to be preached in all the earth if not with money? Try feeding the poor without money, or clothing the naked, or ministering to those in prison... it takes money! Jesus' ministry had a treasure to keep up with the donations and distribute them...

Donna, you're well informed! You know the scriptures...May God continue to reveal His will to you indeed. You've opened your mind and heart to the light of the gospel - the good news of the BLESSING, like the Father told Abraham; if only people know the good that these ministries are doing all over the world! Well, may God help them to see in Jesus' name.

It is nice to see that there are some who have true faith. Hebrews 11.6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." You have confirmed what I have been saying. I thank God daily for His mercy and goodness. Our God is a good God. HALLELUIAH!!!!!!

I am familiar with Branson. What is the old Remington Theater near. What's on either side of it? Is it near Shepherd of the Hills Expressway/Hwy. 76? I was in Branson November 2006, and have been several times.

Mother Theresa was a wonderful humanitarian and while I do not know a whole lot about her life work it seems to me that she gave people fish and the others listed both gave fish and taught people how to fish for themselves.
