Orange Resident wrote: <quoted text> The whole point is that nothing has been proven yet, and here you are implying, like many others, that this police officer was speeding. Yes, parents are without their children, which is heartwrenching. But it is not fair for you or anyone else to make this accusation at this point. The officer is innocent until proven guilty. Just like if the tables were turned, the kids would have been innocent until proven otherwise (and a police officer's family would be without its loved one.) PEOPLE stop making unfounded accusations or implications! if that was the case the kids would have went to jail from the accident seen or when they left the hospitol instead of going home to their loved ones like the cop did the kids couldnt go home to their loved ones for one reason and that was speed of the cop killed them it was no sudden turn like he said those kids made it all the way across the road accident happenned in the cops right lane he had time to react even at the speed he was going i guess over 90 but he didnt and he knows why hopefully the state police will know why too..........

Do you think they might convene a grand jury any time soon about this incident--like, within the next 18 months? Just curious...

Both Corpus Christi and Shoreline Shiska have disappeared. It's too bad that they weren't able to express themselves in a more palatable manner. Perhaps in the future they'll learn how to communicate in a more appropriate tone.

Holy CRAP....reading through those posts made my head spin!! First and foremost my heart and prayers go out to the family of the two teenagers who's lives were taken. Second I am sure that Officer Anderson is not having an easy time dealing with the accident either. But his pain and suffering is no comparison to the pain and suffering of the families of those teens. It is a sad, tragic accident. Who the hell cares why Anderson left Darien for Milford...many officers leave departments for various reasons. I dont think that his service record should have been displayed in the news. The media are like vultures they will tear the smallest of things apart just to put ink on the paper. Amitymom...I think you handled the abuse you too from Shoreline Crackhead with all the class in the world...kudos to you :) I just hope that all the officers in CT have learned a lesson from Officer Andersons accident....be careful and be safe out there!

Word on the street is that someone is passing Officer Andersons house and yelling obscenities....Wonder if its our friend Corpus Christy. Its really sad that someone would torture his wife and children like this!

in this civillians opinion it shouldnt matter if the people he killed had been drinking or abusing drugs ... if that officer was driving out of approved police department procedures he is guilty. i know if i was driving 90 down the posr road it wouldnt matter who i killed id be going to prison. i wouldnt wish jail on my worst enemy but thats the system we have in place for people who break laws. the real irony is he will use everything in his power to avoid going to jail while all through his career he probably cursed the people hes arrested for doing the same thing

I had yet another Milford cop blow by me the other night (1am) while I was waiting at a stop light to make a turn. I instantly thought of this case.

If a witness to this could get a description of the car and a license plate (or even a partial plate) and call the local police immediately, the police might be able to find this person, stop them, and arrest them. Just a thought...
