Is the economy being made to look worse than it is or is it really as bad as the media makes it out to be. People cannot get to the food pantry because of high gas prices. Shortages at food pantries seem to be nationwide. Stories about people having to hustle to find a parking place for the RV they now call home after losing the house. Good Lord! This crisis is largely caused by irresponsible government and lending institutions and largely by high fuel prices. It seems we are spiraling downward. Even stories about nursing homes and rehab centers closing or cutting back services are making the rounds. Tragic, if we are to save ourselves, maybe we really are our brother's keeper. The waves of a huge tragedy are splashing over our toes and soon we will be knee deep in the muck.

The blame can also be shared by people who bought homes they could not afford. If you do not understand the terms do not sign it.

I love News Channel 4! However, I was a little upset with something on yesterday, Wednesday, June 25. You featured the story regarding The Food Pantry was struggling. After the story, you indicated to go on your website to see how you can help. The problem I had with that was, at this time,my Verizon wireless was not active, therefore, I could not go online. Why can't you provide the telephone numbers to places. I was just sitting on my chair, I could have called and spoken to someone. Instead, I had to wait until I got to a working computer. Please keep in mind, everyone does not have a computer. Or in my case until the Verizon Tech. comes to repair my problem. I did find the story this morning and will help. Thank you very much!

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Taurus

Try hard not to let money or possessions come between you and a friend today, unless it's over something that has got to be sorted out before it goes any further. For instance, if someone owes you money and has consistently failed to pay it back, this is a good day for mentioning it to them and finding out what's going on. If necessary, you may have to be quite vehement.
