whoever bought the hospital would make a killing by giving tours of the building. Is there any chance of that happening?

I think tours should be given also, and at a reasonable price there are many people in the community that are on a fixed income and would take the tour if it were at a reasonable price. I have always heard that the hospital might be haunted?????????
I also heard that there is a grave yard there, I think a listing of those graves should be made and posted on a internet site. Does anyone know if the graves were from patients of the hospital?
Also an interview done and posted on the website of past employees of the hospital.
It is a beautiful place and should never be torn down.

I want the hospital to be open for tours. They also should have the ghost hunters (taps) to come and do an investigation.. Thats one creepy place

I came to the tour for halloween and for a lark i brought along a digital, snapped several pic in the dark.. ususally i can feel if there is anything strange going on.. I know that sounds stupid, but the fact is I can.. I felt absolutely
nothing.. no chills, no creepy crawly skin.. I even lagged behind the group hoping. nothing!
came home and downloaded to pc and the orbs are
everywhere, also have green ooze on the stairwell
one orb actual has what looks like a face.
several of the orbs are a blue color. i would love to investigate further if possible

More than likely the orbs that you have captured are dust particles. This is a common illusion in old buildings with no air filtaction systems. Think about all of the dust, insulation and asbestoses floating around this old structures. That also is probably why you did not feel any presence around you.

I don't think the Old State Hospital should stay open. People found strong GHOST readings there.
The Hospital is really unstable. I work there every October being A tour guide and someone who helps them scare people at the HAUNTED HOUSE.
The owners only let people on the first floor.
The readings were on every floor. Espically in the basement. So I don't think they should keep it open. And FYI they already give tours there.

The building is grand along with the grounds the same. I would love to tour the entire insides of the building, however I dought to get that lucky.
I would love to see the place and I am from Indiana. Its the chilling errie past of the place that will attract people. Wish I knew the family who bought it so I could get a lot closer.

I really do believe that the place Is haunted cause my brother went Into the hospital to Investigate and when I asked him how It went,he couldn't speak after that something really frightened him to death.
he said he felt unpleasent Ghost and Spirits and as he looked every where he saw strong ghost readings on the walls and they wer'e telling him to get out!.
then he had this huge red scratch across his face on the side of his eye.
He said what ever you do Jenny you better promis me that you will never step foot In that hospital alone they will hurt you.
and I know what he ment something bad.
But he said that I couldn't go In he told me not to go alone esecially at night time, he said to go In with somebody cause he said It Is dangerious that I will get hurt or killed.

I have an aunt who volunteers her time when they do the tours. She also worked there when it was open. I'd like to tour the building myself when I go back to visit.

I toured the hospital today and was very upset with the name and the ghost tours. It is very disrespectful to the suffering of the people who were committed there. So many people were abused and killed there.....now it seems to be a joke to the owners who are trying to make money from this. It should not have been named "lunatic asylum." That is moving the progress made in mental illness back 250 years, for what.....fun?

The owners could apply for historical grants to work on restoring the building. It may take longer, but would be respectful to the memory of the people who were there.

Don't buy a t-shirt advertising "lunatic asylum." How degrading.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
