This is sad Mississippi there should be a law to prevent students from dropping out. How can the next generation compete if we as citizens allow everyone to quit in Mississippi. We quit on the children also when we allow this to happen. Mississippi has came along way and our past or history is dark. Today we are a better society and I hope we improve. Many people are afraid to come to Mississippi and we need to change. Our economy is bad and something gotta give man!

I think this should be included when we vote. I think it should be added because if a child fails the school failed to reach and or educate the children. Parents fail when they don't exercise control over their children. Lack of direction folks

Please do not bother. The last thing this state needs leading it is a person who thinks you can improve things by passing laws. We have way too many in power with that weak minded philosophy now. You apparently think the government has all the answers for every problem. The real answer is with the people in the communities. Change the people at the grassroots and every other aspect of life you speak of will come with it.
