He didn't go out that night to kill someone. He is not a murderer. Don't be so bloody ridiculous!!!I know the man. He is my dentist. Yes, he was speeding, yes he had drinks, but it was an Accident. It is a tragedy for the two young people killed and their families. But it is also a tragedy for him, his wife and his 4yr old daughter. Think woman, before you post that someone is a murderer. Your head is up your a**!

In addition to his wife Kelly's dui arrest last year, please note some of Mr. Moye's recent driving experiences below as reported on tbo.com .

"On Aug. 7, a Hillsborough sheriff's deputy cited Moye for doing 90 mph in a 55 mph zone, records show. He pleaded no contest and was ordered to attend advanced defensive driving school by December; adjudication was withheld."

"Moye also pleaded no contest after being cited by Tampa police for doing 82 mph in a 65 mph zone in August 2009. He paid a fine and adjudication was withheld."

Enjoy prison Dr. Moye. Because you decided to drink and drive...you now must pay the price. All the education in the world can't give a person common sense.

There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever to drink and drive. This is what happens when you do not have any regards for other people. His driving records shows that. We could only pray for the the family who has lost their loved ones and the man that witnessed it and got hurt. What a shame that lives are destroyed because of one man wanting to satisfy his thirts for alcohol.

One simple mistake can change the rest of your life. I do feel for all the families involved. All his hard work in school to become a known dentist. Flusssssshhhhh.

When someone gets into a car, loaded with booze, knowing full well the potential effects that combination of car, idiot and booze can cause, MURDERER fits quite well. There may have been no malice, but it doesn't matter - murder doesn't require malice. He knowingly got drunk, got into a car, and drove. Well, at least I have an example to start the don't drink and drive conversation with my eight-year old daughter. What a shame that while I have a good shot at instilling sense into her, I can't protect her from garbage like this MURDERER.

JDM this is no accident. This is exactly what happens when you get loaded and drive. Drink all you like, just don't drive. He may not be a murder, but his actions do make him a killer. Drinking and driving kill, he did both. Killer, plain and simple. You say a tragedy for him, his wife and his 4yr old daughter? Wasn't his wife in the car with him? The same wife that got nailed for a DUI last year? The only life that was saved was probably his daughter's by him not ever being able to drive any more most likely.

And he refused a dui test at the scene? If you are going to drink and drive, be a man and suffer the consequences.

This is a young man with no regard for human life-not even his own. His past driving record shows disdain for all others on the road, that he thinks he's above reproach. He has been putting other people's lives at his disposal for quite some time and now it has caught up with him.
No matter what any one of his friends might say in that it was an accident-he intentionally got behind the wheel of a car after drinking excessively and again speeding like the hotshot he thinks he is-that is not an accident-that is a conscious decision to continue his belligerent, arrogant, self destructive behavior disregarding the lives of others around him including his own of which he believes is indestructible.
He has now destroyed the lives of two young, hardworking people. In an instant of selfishness & contempt someone's daughter, son, grandson, friend....are now gone. Those friends of his that call it a "terrible accident".....had it been their son, daughter, husband, mother, father----would they still label it an accident when the pain & loss was so close to their heart?
Has he learned his lesson now that he has actually managed to kill 2 people? Did he sober up and understand the magnitude of his actions? Does he wish the last citations & court hearings regarding his behavior had taught him a lesson and changed his ways? I don't know, but he's going to have a long time to think about it.

Also according the the Hillsborough Co Sheriffs website he was also Charged with Battery on a Officer. This drunk should have had his teeth shoved down his throat.

I'm sure he will come up with some lame excuse like his accellerator stuck and he wasn't really impaired... and I hope he is on the other end of the "drilling" for a good long time in state prison.

eff you for even getting in the car. U deserve every bit of punishment you recieve, and more. I cant believe you even were released from jail.
Sucks. You screwed over not only two other families, but your own as well.

I believe there was another dentist, Randy Puryear, had an office on Hillsbourgh Ave, Tampa. He got involved in the same thing, Manslaughter and got 25 to life for just one muder. He had a great lawyer, Canella, but went down the pike, I believe he gave the lawyer the property to. Nice guy, good dentist and a bright future but it all went down the drain. I think this guy Moye is in much bigger trouble. There is only so much a good or the best lawyer can do for you. I mean, 2 young people dead, reckless driving,beating up a cop and maybe just maybe a high blood test? No judge or jury in their right mind will let this slide if he is found guilty. Too bad, so much going for himself. I guess there are witnesses and video cameras all over that recorded the whole thing. They are all in my prayers, the victims, their parents and families and the dentist as well. Maybe a plea deal will let him out in 10 or fiteen years and he can get some help if he has an addiction. Lucky he is still young, can do a lot of time and have at least some life left. God bless all involved, Do they have any kids, any of them?

Well, maybe, but these cops no days are smart and the black box computer on the car does not lie. You never know, maybe what you are saying is true but if he was drunk no jury will go for it. The civil suit alone will put him in the poor house forever.
