Just wandering what they are putting in there, it looks like a steak house. That would be really nice! I noticed a sign about a pharmacy around that area but it sure doesnt look like one.

It's supposed to be the new Little Dave's. He couldn't re open the old one because of structural damage, and the folks who bought it from him owed a butt load of back taxes, plus defaulted on the loan. Can't wait for it to open... wonder if they are gonna have that one guy that used to work there cookin ( think his name was Steve Skaggs)? That guy is a AWESOME cook- best steak I ever ate was cooked by that fella. The food kinda went to crap when he left.. they strated cookin those frozen burgers....wasn't the same as the Brandenburger at all..... YUMMMMMY!!!!!!!!! then the last owners ran it into the ground... chased awayt all the good waitresses, and put that darn karaoke crap in there.

LOL!!!!! Hey, thanks for the compliments..... def appreciated. Can't speak for the rest of the crew, but as for me...... food service made me an unhappy fellow. Don't get me wrong.... I enjoyed working for Little Dave, Todd, Vicki, and Tim- good people- and the crew I worked with were top notch- we are all still close friends. Since then, I have a wonderful life, a great fiance, an awesome step daughter, and God has given me a child of my own. Now don't get me wrong.... I love to cook, and am decent at it, but my hats off to anyone who can do it for their entire lives, especially like we did it there...... was pretty much fast food speed. It took it's toll on me. If the money was right.... might consider it...... and I emphasize the word 'might'. Please don't hold your breath on that one ;-).

Steve, you should give yourself more credit, my friend. We know each other... my husband and myself were the main two that encouraged you to try to open your own restaurant..... hopefully that gives you a clue as to who I am. You are a great cook with what you do, and your original recipes are beyond reproach. If you would like, we can contact Little Dave himself provided you wish to come back to work in food service. Your friends.....D and M.

Hmmm was on here last night about the same time you posted, Steak..... must've missed your comment by a minute or two. D..... Yeah, I know you, hon- LOL!!!! Folks, I really do appreciate all of the compliments.... truly I do. Cannot take all of the credit for the food quality when I was there..... was trained by a group of talented, awesome cooks, and just built on the basics of what they taught me. Honestly, am getting tired of working a few months then getting laid off driving a forklift... it's no fun when you're trying to raise a child. Steak, yes, I did have a real bad temper back then.. still have it a little, but the main source of my stress has been removed from my life. Thought for years it was actually kitchen work that caused it- that wasn't it. Just needed to get my priorities in order, and do what needed to be done in order to be happy, which I now am. I tell ya what....... let me try to contact Tim Branson, and see what they have to offer. I do miss cooking for you folks here in Brandenburg, and am honestly touched that by the comments. When your back in the kitchen, the majority of what you hear are the negative complaints.... you guys n gals need to be vocal if you like the grub in any restaurant, and please remember..... cooks accept tips as well as waitresses ;-). Again, thank you all so much for the compliments.. they mean a lot :-)

Ate at Little Dave's before and after the frozen patties replaced the original Brandenburger.... didn't realize that was the reason they stopped serving them. with that being said.... me and my family have not had a decent hand patted burger in this area since then. Don't really know you, Steve... but if you have nothing better to do, we sure would appreciate your return to Little Dave's upon it's re opening- LOL!

More posts I see.... Yes, Mandingo, Vicky Has an AWESOME voice.... we have sang karaoke together before. Again, thank you to everyone who is chiming in on this.... the compliments are overwhelming. However, don't really think that I should use this to toot my own horn, but will repost this link on my page in honor of Little Dave's re opening, and the public opinion of this. To those who are wondering why I quit the last time i worked there...... that is between the managerial staff of Little Dave's, Dave Branson, and myself. Had a phone call earlier that questioned this choice. To clear the air, I respect Little Dave and all of his children and family members- it wasn't personal.. it was business.

Steve is correct. All of the Branson's have a gift for Business savvy- Vicky, Terry, Tim, Todd- all of them.
