A Face-Lift For Storm Damaged Store

The Vintage Henderson Hardware Store stood strong through the destructive power of the Tornado of March 15, 2008, but, the old store closed a week or so ago, because of the many economic pitfalls of America's downturn in the business world.
It is understood that in the name of "progress" that local "progressives" plan to bulldoze to the ground the old building, which has been a beloved Branchville Landmark for about a hundred years, or so.
Too much of Branchville's historic downtown area has already suffered from fires, tornadoes, and greed.
This small railroading village can handle just so many convenience stores and the Mom and Pop businesses can not compete with the large box stores, such as Wal-Mart and Worst Buys...so long Henderson Hardware store...
