sounds like old bill is pulling a scam to me. he probly knew what she was doing, and let her get away with it enough times so he could embezzle some himself and put ALL the blame on her. theres no other explanation. she will plea down and take the lesser charges, and he will get off scott free.

Sounds to me all this was going on in a really rough time of Bills life. All this stealing was going on while Penny was sick and around her passing. Kind of dirty to do him like thst when he was so vulnerable.

Some people are so dumb. The money was taken over a long period of time and once they noticed they had to go back and check to see how much was taken. As for bill taking money....hello its his store its his money. Sure Cathy will be ordered to pay it back but she will just pay what she can which wont be much. Bill will never get all his money back so it made no sense for him to do it. People need to think about what they say

Let me start by saying that you know nothing. He does own everything in the bulding. And the bulding itself. The thing you don't understand is that yes it is an IGA. He bought a Franchise in IGA. Meaning he can use the name. That doesn't mean they own anything.And you calling it a (branch) of IGA makes me laugh. USE YOUR BIG WORDS IT CALLED A FRANCHISE. BAH BAH So before you start throughing out name calling know what your talking about. He is a great person and does alot for his community. It's sad that someone took advantage of someone that has been through so much.
