I cant believe there is shock that Hudson is corrupt. Hudson regularly campaingns against those who dont agree with him and surrounds himself with YES men from both parties. This water park has been David Hudson's pet project for over a decade since before the pool at Ben Geren was closed down. He runs the quorum court and the County Judges office with an iron fist and anyone who dares disagree with him ends up on the outside looking in. Ever wonder why he goes through so many assistants? I am not defending Fort Smith BOD I am just saying Fort Smith wasnt even involved until Hudson figured out he could not cram it down the voters throats without them. Regarding construction projects...doesnt it seem odd to anyone else how Beshears Construction seems to get all the building contracts for the County?

many flintco employees have been charged with bribes and corruption by the United States Federal Attorney. its all over the news and internet so who does our country judge and our city administrator jump in bed with? you guessed it right if you said flintco. they have been accused of paying millions of dollars in bribes for construction projects awarded to them and are currently under investigation by the FBI and justice departments. what our city leaders are not telling you is that this water park will be very expensive to operate because of regulations on these parks that will cost taxpayers a bundle and even though they are building the water park with your tax dollar, you will pay more dollars to use the park. some water parks charge a family of four(4) over 24.00 dollars to use the water park for one day and there are many extra charges associated with the use of the park. sad as it is, it looks like the fort smith taxpayers will be on the hook for another project that will be a huge burden on the fort smith taxpayers. the people of the city need to be asking their board of directors why this was allowed to move forward knowing that flintco was under investigation and why kevin settle, andre good, keith lau, and mike lorenz voted to approve this fiasco. george catsavis, pam weber, and phil merry voted against using flintco as the construction agent and wanted a local company appointed!

<quoted text> ray gosack used taxpayer money to hire Flintco!
Gosack didn't hire anyone . He and David Hudson RECOMMENDED that Flintco be hired. However it took a vote of the Sebastian County Quorum Court and the Fort Smith Board of Directors for the actual hiring to take place. Gosack has no where near the powers you attribute to him.

On a side note, it is highly unlikely that Flintco would do anything that would even give the slightest hint of impropriety as a result of their recent legal troubles and the firings of the individuals involved.
The water park with Flintco as construction manager is a done deal.

While Gosack can recommend, the BOD must approve.

did gosack want Flintco to build the water park? did gosack put pressure on the county judge? did gosack put pressure on the BOD? did the county judge put pressure on the Q-Court? was Flintco investigated by the FBI? did the Attorney General file charges against Flintco and its employees? did Flintco or its employees pay bribes at 2,000,000,00 dollars for construction projects? you are full of crap so put your white wash brush away so we won't "move on" but you will move out! if a crime is committed and YOU provide cover, you are just a guilty under the law!

thought the fort smith taypayers were paying gosack to make good decisions? if one were to go to a city meeting and complain, they may get belly bumped and then BOORTZ (PJ) would start the personal attacks! why complain, just let the FBI and United States Federal Attorney do their job and file charges on all the Flintco employees paying BRIBES for construction projects so maybe they may find Gosack and others in their investigations. lets just hope that they look at Fort smith and the way that the city spends taxpayer money while not using the sealed bid process! garbage trucks anyone? sludge trucks anyone and the cost for a couple of sludge trucks is only 440,000 tax dollars. no bids---no problem! wonder if the political jackass will go to jail but do know that he will suffer from civil lawsuits that are being worked on! its going to get very interesting in the old fort city!

<quoted text> spending 60 million tax dollars or better on the convention center that still loses 1 million tax dollars every year, maybe another 60 million tax dollars on the marshals museum that will consume millions of tax dollars every year in operating expenses, another 10 million tax dollars on a water park that will lose millions of tax dollars every year, and now the spenders want a new 25 million dollar city hall. is gosack the guy that told the citizens of fort smith that the city could not afford the 25,000 dollars per year to televise the BOD meetings where all the spending is approved? is it a stretch to call gosack a big fat liar? how about your board of dictators? do they love looting and spending your tax money?

a smart move would be to lock Flintco out of fort smith and send gosack with them as a consultant! the county judge could follow and be an assistant to gosack! the judge could make gosack an honorary judge and then you would have "two judges that tried each other!"

Now the "Big Spender" of other peoples money wants to cut police and fire protection of the citizens but is willing to pay Flintco an extra 2 million dollars to build a water park that a local experienced contractor could build better for less! 2 million dollars would pay a lot of police and fire but our "big spender" would rather send our tax money to a Tulsa Company that has been investigated by the FBI and charged by the Feds for paying out 2 million in bribes for contracts. He should be fired!

Have you ever stood next to elderly mayor....he's a big guy. He's more likely to fall down on his own as he is too big to push down. If he had a few drinks, then that would help him fall on his own. Interesting that he refused to go the hospital immediately upon his fall. Maybe alcohol would have been found in his system or some other substance to render him imbalanced at the time of the fall.

One of the City Directors was overheard asking if the Mayor was Drunk and that question was asked just minutes before the belly bump. People that saw the Mayor fall stated that he stumbled over his own feet and then claimed he was pushed!
