I was informed that NO ATV,s were allowed on the streets of Bramwell. All that i have read in the newspaper was that Bramwell and Poca. are going to welcome all riders in their towns. Thats local residents and riders from the Hatfield and McCoy trails are welcome. So how can these towns expect people to visit the local shops and cafes if the town of Bramwell wont let the people ride their atv,s.there. Whats the purpose of having the ATV RESORT near the Pop Shop in Bramwell if you cant ride there? Is there an ATV route in town? I see the new ATV signs have been posted in BRAMWELL.. WHATS THE ATV SIGNS FOR? I was told by a town clerk that No atv,s were allowed in town and that it was illegal to ride your atv down any of the streets. So i guess the ATV riders will have to spend their money elsewhere.

Can any one tell me why the new atv signs are posted in town. Is this the ATV route that can be driven on with an ATV? Im very interested in coming to this area next month to ride. But ,myself and about 15 more riders are going elsewhere if we are not welcome in Bramwell.

Yes all ATV riders are allowed and welcome to come to Bramwell. ther is a atv resort located in town and all the stores and cafe welcomes all.Ther are signs in town that tell you the trails that you can go. So everyone come and enjoy. Our town I Know the town clerk and police chief and both are pro ATVs. and said the more the better.com e and see what a good time you can have bring a friend.

ATV's are welcome here. Just follow the blue signs. Most of the people here are retired. They just want to live here in peace and quiet. As long as the people who ride ATV's abide by the routes on the signs. They are welcome here. Just pay attention to the signs. They are quite small. Give them time, this is all new to them.

To be honest, I'm indeffrent to them. But I'm going to have to live with them. I have never owned one, or want one. But on the same token, as long as they obey the rules. I'm ok with them.
I'm more more worried with the locals that live here who think that the rules don't apply to them.
I know that the people who live out of state will respect us and abide by the rules, if they know what the rules are. JUST WATCH THE LITTLE BLUE AND GOLD SIGNS.....

Problem I have with the ATVs is that they aren't required to be insured. UNTIL that changes I feel they shouldn't be on main roads its too much of a liability to other people.

Bramwell ATV Resort is conveniently located in Bramwell 750 yards from the Pocahontas Trail Entrance. We have two cabins and two efficiency rooms situated on the banks of the Bluestone River.

The place ATV's are not allowed to ride is on main street. They are to come down by the pop shop , down the straight stretch and right before the train depo there is a sign that says ATV route pointing to the left, its a gravel road by the train tracks and it takes them around behind main street and right out at the intersection so they can continue on their way to Pocahontas. Really not that hard if you pay attention to the signs. Parking for the ATV riders who want to stop and check out main street is at the end of main street near the train depo in the large grassy area. Then they can walk up main street to the shops and restaurants.
I do not have a problem with ATV riders in Bramwell as long as they don't act crazy and rev their engines on purpose and disregard the rules. Some people here like the quiet and laid back vibe that Bramwell has always had. I also do not understand why everyone is saying Bramwell doesn't want ATVs? If we didnt want them why would we have opened up the trail to come right through Bramwell???? As long as everyone obeys the rules there shouldn't be any problems. Pretty simple.

I greatly appreciate the People and Town of Bramwell accepting the ATV Community into their town. With the new Trail head of the Pocahontas Trail System, I think more ATV riders will visit this small town to enjoy it's wears and lodging. This will increase the economy for this town and also bring families to enjoy the history of Bramwell.
The City of Bramwell I thank you very much for your acceptance of Our Recreation and Sport into your community.

Do you plan on riding your ATV TO Bramwell or do you have a truck or trailer. It's unreasonable to think the entire town would be for you to play in. The residents should be entitled to some piece and quiet.
I never get why people with ATV want to spend all their time on the road and not in the woods where they were designed to be ridden. By yourself a Harley and get plates and insurance and you are free to ride on roads everywhere.

Are SxS that are licensed and tagged in TN welcome on the streets? I pull SxS with Motorhome and need it for transportation around. And good RV campgrounds with acces to trails?

If you see these Atv riders on the main roads riding give the Mercer Co Sheriff Department a call and report them. They have allocated money to patrol out of staters that ride like idiots.
