Retrial delayed in illegal downloads case

Screw the "recording industry". They are the ones who shot themselves in the foot along time ago. Had they not been in the stone age, they would of capitalized on the downloading market back when programs like Naptster first came out. Instead, they chose to whine and complain and start suing the fans, all the while quality of music severely decreased. I say download away!!!

they will need to sue millions of people if anyone thinks this will be a "lesson." it's more of a joke than anything. downloading music only helps the artists by getting word out about their music.

This is all due to a congress and president that has passed laws turning the stealing of a one dollar song into something worse than stealing a car. You liberals can watch and see if p-bo fixes this, but don't get your hopes up.
I have no sympathy for the industry which has spent decades routinely defrauding artists of their royalties, enforced monopolies and engaged in price fixing, bedded down with organized crime figures, and so on.
But worst of all, their product is crap. Not interested in any of the bad performances and over-produced tripe that passes for new releases in the last decade. Were it free, I would not bother even listening to it.
