No I have problems being pulled over on the way home from work just because I get off around bar close and hear every stupid excuse as to why I have been pulled over even if it's not true.
Seriously I have never been pulled over at 1:00 AM (though I have called the police on eratic drivers). Even if I was pulled over I would glady thank the police officer for doing a dangerious job to keep dangerious people off the steet. Maybe it has less to do with you worried about rights being taken away (which btw driving is not one of them) and more to do with you wanting to drink and still being able to drive?

P.S. When you are going 60 in a 40 do you complain how the man is holding you down after you get a ticket?

I was saying stuff like that back in the Sixties. Surprising how good we had it back then. "They" only shot four of us at Kent State. The four who pushed the limit, apparently.

What are you doing about it besides complaining about your personal inconvenience on the net?

I am certain that the more public acting out the greater TPTB will bring forces of control down upon all our heads. If you have a beef with control, as most young people do, why not get constructively active?

I didn't hear your concern for your fellow man earlier. Thought you were just tired of being stopped.

Go for it, kid. Just do it smart. Cuz, just like you, I'm getting tired of having my celebrations supervised by police because too many people are out of line.

No actually if I'm in the wrong I take my ticket because I deserved it. But I don't need to be pulled over because someone wants to hit a quota or get a prize like going to a twins game. I have no problem with police doing their jobs, I do have a problem with needless harassment.
