Hi everyone,
I am contemplating a shift from europe to the US, work related, and would, in all probability be affiliated to the U of Davis. I wanted to hear from the locals on the livability/affordability of Davis as a city, and also suggest alternatives, for someone who is working at the university. I will not be on a high income group, just $3000-4000 pm + benefits.
1) what is the rent structure like?
2) How accessible is the university (trains/metros/bus)?
3) social life? community relations?
4) any other tips you might like to give me.
with best regards,
sid.
