Because the recession is getting worse and not better and if you find one in North Carolina or anywhere else it will be a miracle.Because they are laying off and shutting down everywhere Grizzel.You claim to know everything and whats good for all but you know nothing.

alabama and texas are actually doing pretty well as far as jobs go...and little by little it getting better

I have read all your comments and all of you are right. Being on welfare surely can`t be easy,you`re are living below poverty level and deserve all the help you can get. You`re not minorities but you deserve free housing and a check and food stamps and free medical and the government should come in there and build parks and recreational areas!!!! Also the government should build low income housing in these areas. Let us not forget why this area is so far behind times and considered a depressed area. For one thing it is your area leaders and your your representatives faults!!! Another reason you are living so hard is BIG MONEY the very rich came in and bought up the coal mines and shut them down to break the union. Most of them were non-union when they started back up. Your leaders,representatives and the rich destroyed you all just like they are doing in other parts of the country now. Your poor neighbors aren`t your problem its the rich!!!

to WVA GIRL---cleanliness is next to Godliness!!!and I`m glad you got teeth to brush,which I truly doubt. I`ve never seen a West Virginiaian with all their teeth and you probably take a bath once a month and that`s on check day. Never judge the poor and unjust,the illiterate, and your family because those inbreds will turn you out in the real world and you might have to work for a living. Miss Hygenist your breath might need a little freshened up and your body odor, you are the last to know,might offend others that are too respectable and to kind to say deodarant won`t cover that smell. It`s better to be kind the unfortunates than to ridicule them. You might even find someone to love you, Miss Perfect!!!

I dont think she(wv girl) was trying to act like she was perfect. I think she was stating her opinion about people being nasty. She was merely saying that she too was raised on welfare but at least she went around clean like people should. The only think I disagree with her about is the WV part. People all over the world go nasty, not just welfare receiptants from WV. I have lived in 5 different states through out my adult life and I have ran into people in all 5 states that dont bath or brush their teeth on a regular basis.
Im sure she has all her teeth and Im also sure she has enough self-respect to make sure she doesnt have any body odor.
