religious burn out

I have been in church for 17 yrs. I love the Lord but I have lost my desire to go to church. I have also noticed that before I never really paid alot of attention to man's failures and downfalls I never really gave the preachers mistakes alot of thought and now I do. I don't want to lose my salvation but I feel like I am at a crossroaads in my life. The spark I had before is just not there anymore.

just hold on you keep going to church DONT look at what others are doing and saying you stand up TALL with your arms up open wide god hears you DONT you worry about others getting in to heaven let them work on it and just pray for them because we are going to see alot this time and day...KEEP PRAYING ....may god bless you

i too have been in church for years.we must hold on ,keep the faith fight the fight,Gods eyes r on the rightious,i tried staying out of church for a little while i couldnt do it we have to have fellowship with Gods people and yes there r true children of Gods out there ,i know u know that u know them by the fruit they bear ,i will be praying for u and i want u to pray for me too because i want to be in Gods will i want to walk and talk the way that people might see that i have God in my life ,i want my light to shine and not be hide God bless u in Jesus name i pray . ill pray for u each time i pray

I also am having the burn out you're talking about. I know a lot of other people who are too. I believe the preacher at the church I go to is a good preacher. He preaches out of the Bible. There are people at our church who are running the church and doing things that are not right. I think he should straighten them out. If I can see what's going on, I'm sure he can. I love my church but I will never say a word to the Pastor or the congregation because I would never want to cause trouble in church.

i do know where you are coming from but let me tell you the key and I believe this with all my heart, it is prayer. Prayer is the key to hold your salvation. I know how people feel and I also am at a standstill but I know down on my knees will solve the problems. Yes, sometimes certain ones will run the church and maybe you should go to the pastor alone and in confidence. I will be praying for all. Please pray for me I need it really bad.

Please jsut listen to the preacher and not people .Then come home and look up what the preacher said in the Bible and it will keep you interested.We are bless to get to go to church.Some people are sick and can't walk or see or hear the word.See We are Blessed to go.Don't listen to the other people it will change you.You worry about your Salvation and they will account for what they say and do.You have to answer for everything you say and they will too.God Bless You.

Dear Atheist, Please remember and think, there is a Lord and he is God of the Universe, His name is Jesus Christ. I know you might not want to hear this but I am telling you there is a God. Maybe you believed one time and maybe someone let you down or maybe you think God let you down. He will never leave us or forsake us, if we do the best we can and live right. Sometimes something bad happens maybe it would be for the best in the long run. I do know I have heard that some people hold the Lord responsible for someone dieing or they say God didn't answer my prayer and let them live. He might have decided to take the person home with him to keep him from going through something. I know I lost one of my dearest friends 2 yrs ago. I always felt like she was a sister to me. She died at around age 55. She had been having a hard time in her family and her children were giving her such a bad time. She had a hard time all of her entire life, without much help. I just felt like the Lord took her home out of all this trouble in this world. I know she was ready to go. Please I don't want to be guilty of not mentioning our Lord and Savior to you for he is standing with his arms stretched out for you. He said in his word, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give thee rest" Read Matt 28-30
He loves you no matter what and he will give you a chance just like he does us all, but sometimes time runs out, please he is all that ever matters in this life for everything else will pass away.

I will tell you what is going to happen. These people who call themselves atheists are going to DIE and they are going to go to HELL. The Lord God said you are condemned already because you have not believed the record he gave of his Son Jesus. God will NOT continue to spare this wicked and unbelieving generation that we have become. The so called ministers of God had better quit sugar coating the word and God and preach it like it is given be ye HOLY FOR I AM HOLY THUS SAITH THE LORD. This world has become disobedient and rebellious God WILL judge and destroy the wicked if they turn not from their wicked ways. It is time that we get out of our pity party state and open our eyes to the events that are taking place in this world. JESUS IS COMING are you ready?

And I know that I would wipe it off and rejoice because my saviour suffered the same persecution and the servant is not greater than the master and I would still continue to preach the truth. Please pray I get the will to go to church I havent been for about a year, and the pastor has not once called me or has any of the congragation ,even seen most of them in public and not one has ask why havent you been to church, and im hearing someone that went there longer than i did has been treated the same way. I dont need begged into church but I do think its the pastors duty to find out why someone isnt in church.My eyes were opened to alot while I was there and I dont have the respect for the pastor I once had.I know they are human as we all are.I think hes more worried about the money he brings in and building the church up to being a palace instead of his peoples souls.

dont leave the right road just yet, maybe you just need a little different scenery. go to another church, see a different "pastor", maybe that person is needing guidance.
