I am not mad because "some people lost their food and needs help to replace it!" I didn't lose a drop of food, I cooked it. Every one around ate well. I would not turn a hungry person away either. I am pi$$ed because once again the CHECKERS get their lazy asses another FREE handout while I bust my hump. I hope you are at the store standing in line behind one of the POOR LIL CHECKERS while one of them buys 2 buggies full of pop using FOOD Stamps then watch them sell it outside for the $$$. I bet you are a checker yourself. As for my chalk line (whatever that is supposed to mean) Yep I am better than someone that milks the gov't dry. I DO LOOK DOWN MY NOSE AT PPL THAT BLEED THE SYSTEM. SO KISS MY ASS, if it rains I won't drown either because I will buy myself an umbrella; I won't wait around for the gov't to give me one.<quoted text>
First of all,no I'm not a "checker",my husband provides well for me.No I won't kiss your ass,fat is bad for the heart!Someday you'll look down your nose at the wrong person, and it'll come back on you hard. Not everyone that recieves a government check is "milking" the system,Their are some that have worked all their lives and recieve retirement, others recieve disability because they are truly disabled, yes some do scam the system but thats the systems fault, they need to follow up on cases, but don't cry everyone,if thats the case then when your ready to retire you'll be "milking" the system also.

Kiss your A$$? One of these days you are gonna take an arrogant attitude with one of these so-called "checkers" and you are gonna get your snotty little A$$ kicked.

One thing people are downing the power company that is wrong. These men didn't have to come in here and help us they were not with their families on the holidays. And another thing is if you work you will have to go and buy your groceries if you work nothing is free to you. Everybody should get on welfare and let it be handed to you they have it better than most working people do anyway. But for me and my family I would rather work than sat on my lazy butt and not do nothing and let peoople sit back and talk about me.

As far as recouping food losses, you may want to contact your electricity provider because they may provide you with money or vouchers to replace food that was lost due to a power outage.

heres my opinion, since everybody else is giving theirs, WV was declared a state of emergency, everyone who was without power all of those days was pretty much having it as hard as the next person, whether you draw food-stamps or not!! I personally think it is discrimination to replace someones food stamps back to them and not replace other peoples money back for their food, a blizzard which left everyone here without power for a week or longer, and to only help the people who are on food stamps is discrimination!!!!

Great post. I aso agree with you. My parents who live on Social Security, which my Dad worked hard for, lost all of their food too. They lived on a fixed income too. I think EVERYONE should get their food replaced. I pray that nobody has to go to bed hungry.
