Sunamco workers at Perkins Camp

[just wondering]

I was just wondering what everyone else thought of the workers. I see most outside smoking everytime im down there. The only one i have ever saw doing anything was the big guy, i think his name is randy or something like that.

Randy that works at sunamco is my Dad and he is a really good worker he works hard for that company and I think he should get some appreciation after working there for over 20 years.

I think you are just trying to start a topix to cause trouble. Why don't you leave well enough alone and find you something to do. Honest people there trying to make a living, not bothering anyone. There's no most to it, only 4 different ones there, on different schedules. Get a life!!!! They do a fine job!!!

What's wrong with smoking, you must have something against the ones smoking, if their boss doesn't care, why should you, not only that, have you ever had to wait on them to wait on you while they had their smokes?

all i got to say is that place could not open if it wasnt for penny,randy and tom.yes maybe they do take a smoke brake when things are slow so what.if every store or business had employes like them then the owners would have nothing to worry about.

I can't believe you asked what's wrong with smoking!! It not only kills the person who is smoking it also kills the people who have to breath the foul smelling smoke from their smoking. I stopped going to that store becase I'm not walking through a maze of smoke just to shop. The smoke makes me very sick so I just don't go around it. I don't care if they smoke I just think they shouldn't be allowed to do it around the door. They should have a designated smoking area in the back like other places of business do.

They don't smoke at the door where you go in so I don't see what the problem is. Sounds like you just want to find something to pick at I'm at that store every day and have never walked through a maze of smoke

Cry Babies...Cry Babies...I tell ya...I do not know what people would do if they did not have nothng to whine about...You know the workers do the best they can... We all in both stores work very hard to make the public happy..Because that is how we get our paychecks to support our families by working hard..I am sorry if we do not get down and kiss feet as people walk through the door... That is not one of our job requirements....Now I know that there are alot of really nice people that has said some nice things about us all...And that is appreciated...But what is not appreciated is the loud mouth people that has nothing better to do but cause trouble and yell that the stuff in the stores is outdated...Which is not....Both store is stocked twice a week with groceries that comes on a truck at 5 in the morning...So I know that it is not outdated... As for the bread if there is a complaint about it take it up with the bread companies Flowers and Hiners they are the ones that brings it to the stores..We do not have time to fresh bake it..And as for the Jolo people being snobs that is far from the truth...I work there and will talk to anyone that comes through the door...So please dont give that crap... And the people we work for are dam good people I have been there a long time and they have been really good to me and everyone else that works there...Now go ahead and say what you want...I have said all that I will say....

Wrong!!!!! Who will pay taxes to make sure they have the hospital care they will need when they get cancer? Why should people who no longer smoke or who never smoked have to pay for emergency room treatment. It costs thousands and thousands of dollars for only one cancer patient who has lung cancer.

After they lose their jobs because they get sick, they will lose any health care benefits they had while working. Medicaid here they come.

I don't think people should be forced to stop smoking, and I don't think people should not pay taxes for their health care, I will do that with my tax dollars, but PLEASE don't say it is their lungs like it is only they who will have to pay for it.

In money and pain of losing a loved one, we all pay.

why are you calling them snobs do you have a promblem with one of them if you do maybe you shouldnt go in there i like everyone there the are nice and helpful when i go in there so perkins camp and jolo keep up the good work maybe getr done could learn some manners.

If you have a problem with the people who work at Sunamco or care about whether they smoke or not, simply just do not stop and shop there! I'm sure they won't mind. Drive to Welch or Richlands and shop! You will seem happier, and I know for a fact that the workers and the owners will appreciate your business else where cause you will not be on here talking crap about their business or store. People in the community need to be thankful for that store and everyone who works in there. You all think that getting on here and running your mouth is going to prove a point, it's not. It just gives you guys something to run your mouth about. If you have a real problem and not a stupid complaint or something you want to whine about talk to the owners and they will fix it. At least those people at Sunamco actually have a job, and not stay on here and complain about everything in the community! Therefore, you people get a job or a life!

hey this is the so called loud mouth ... i know good an damn well they have an still sell outdated food ive bought it there myself damn candy i bought was outdated for damn year i got sick when i ate the shit an started lookin at the date an it was a year old you better lay down hope the food police come there /// ive got plenty of wittness an also not only there but alot of others stores around here sell old shit hey does anyone else on the topixs think like i do about the old outdated food around here?
