Did anything worthwhile happen? Did anything positive come out of the meeting?

seems to me if you were worried to much about it, you would have attended. You are just trying to start shit, get a life, get a job, do something constructive!

FYI....I do have a job, one that pays more than 95% of Arkansas' population. Because of that job I was unable to attend. I'm just a concerned citizen that's very interested in Bradford. There are serious problems with our town, we all need to work toward the common goal of making Bradford a more desirable place to live. There is absolutely no reason for you to be an ass.

oh theres plenty of a reason to be an ass. Just like the last comment on here. You're not going to get any serious answers on here. They don't care what happens in the meeting they just want to bitch!

Nothing out of the ordinary. We were asked not to discuss anything publicly.

An elected official, elected by the public!!! Why would they be asked not discuss anything publicly? Sounds like a cover up for the mayor to hide something, and that's par for the course. He thinks he has the right to do what he wants when he wants. I am sick of all the no good, lie down rotten tree huggers!!!!

The council meeting is open to the public and minutes are posted in the paper! So get a life! There's no cover up!!

This argument can easily be settled by a simple google search I quickly found out that executive sessions are closed to the public but can only be used in matters like public employee reviews or national security. I doubt seriously that there is any cover up or conspiracy but I did find this online I will not swear its any help or completely relevant. http://www.mrsc.org/research/libraryresults.a...

You are so right!! So let's think about this!! I don't really think they were talking about national security. So maybe an employee review?? Ding ding ding!!:) y'all crack me up. So yes they can't talk about the meeting when it goes into executive session! Duh

In the1950's Bradfords government was ruled souly by the baptist Church. As it is partially today (Arther Dunn) being mayor and school superintendent and a Baptist church pertacker. He may also be part of the mason lodge (I'm not sure I will follow him next time they have a meeting) anyway. The city council on the other hand is made up of hardcore baptists. Except (Billy G) whom attends the Chirch of Chirst/Methodist (Mostly) that being said the towns government has been ruled by this one church and part of the (Mason Lodge) for decades. Any teenagers caught dancing will be Beheaded in the town square!

The reason the council went into executive session was to discuss a lawsuit that was about to be filed because guess who had illegally taken a mans gun from him(officer Sims ) the man had threatened a lawsuit . It was advised by the city attorney to pay the man to avoid litigation. The mayor agreed to pay something over $2000. 00 to avoid the situation. Claud tried to coverup this matter saying the Ncic had made a mistake. This was not investigated, they jus took his word for it. This is going right along with the warnings that had been given by other police depts about Sims. Citizens. Should ring Arthur Dunns and council members phones off the wall till something is done. This is fact so you Sims lovers don't try to deny this or I can file Foi and I will publish my findings so everyone will know it. Wake up Bradford, take a stand!!!!!!
