The woman is crazy and rude. Don't leave your pets here, it isn't worth it. She has very absurd rules about dropping off and picking up your pet. Once I forgot to call before I got there and when I arrived she was furiously mad. And I'm not talking about the mad you might expect, I am saying she was viciously mad. If you show up early expect to be told to leave and come back and get charged $50 extra dollars.

Hum...I think I have spoken to her.and if she loves animals she probably is crazy! Again, if she is the same woman I had spoken to..she might be abrubt, but she gave me very very good advice over the phone, regarding my dogs diet. LOL so, whom would you recommend?

I agree about owner's behavior. She can be very rude and demeaning to clients. She seriously needs some training herself in common courtesy to her
clients. While the dogs seem to be treated OK, her poor social skills have taken this place off our boarding list.

I worked at this place with the psycho owner, Lynda,(old, angry, British hag) for about a week. It’s the second longest she’s been able to keep an employee, because of her bad attitude and total disregard for anyone/thing other than herself. She has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever and will treat you and your dog like garbage.

She will hit your dog. She will yell at your dog. She will yell at you. She will call you a “f**king idiot”.
She has ’fired’ clients (however that works). She has kicked 16 week old puppies in the face to make them “respect feet”. She has hit old dogs in the head that wouldn’t “shut the f**k up”. She has completely ignored sickness and depression symptoms. She has caused open bloody gashes from hitting dogs with the metal clips of leashes.

I have worked at multiple boarding, training, grooming facilities as well as many vet offices and pet shops. AAA Pet Resort was the most cruel, dirty, unprofessional, and disorganized place I’ve ever worked.

As an employee, I was not allowed to play with the dogs- no petting or affection, no playing ball, no giving treats, NOTHING. The only time I was allowed to touch the dogs was when I was shoving them back into their kennels or disciplining them. Many dogs were terrified of Lynda and would cower in fear when she reached for them. I don’t even think she likes dogs. She certainly doesn’t act like it.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE IF:
…You don’t want your dog to get hit
…Your dog jumps, humps, barks, follows you around, climbs fences, plays rough, doesn’t come when called, doesn’t cooperate at all times
…They like human attention and love
…They are old, frail, aggressive, afraid of storms (or anything else), have been beaten or mistreated in the past, or are imperfect in anyway
…They prefer humans over dogs/ don’t like playing with other dogs
…They need medication or special care- they won’t get it
…They are used to eating dinner. The dogs are fed at 9am and 11am. So most of them don’t eat their second meal.

Don’t be fooled by the happy little videos that you see.“KENNEL FREE DAYS” means that they are not kenneled from 8am-Noon. That’s right- 4 hours outside. They ARE KENNELED for 20 HOURS A DAY. The kennels are dark, wet, and depressing- ask to see them. It’s where your dog will be for a majority of it’s stay.

Don’t take your dog here- their life depends on it. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!! Go find a trusted/ recommended pet sitter that is licensed/ insured/ bonded.

I have experienced this owner's bad behavior as well. I showed up five minutes early to bring my dog, and she literally cussed me out. "Fired" me, I guess you could say. When I hung up the phone and left, she called me again five minutes later to let me have it again! Thank goodness it was BEFORE I left my dog. Hate to think what might have happened if I had actually left my pet there. This woman is more than rude. I don't think she's playing with a full deck, and she does not possess any customer service skills whatsoever. DO NOT USE THIS KENNEL!

OH Please, if you love your dog like I love mine...do not take them there. Being a former veterinary technician, I should have known better when the owner would not let me tour the facility before I brought my pet there, but I was new to the area & needed a boarder quickly. She (the owner) made believable excuses, so I thought I would try her out.

Proved to be one of the most distressing decisions I have ever made!

Her daily "videos" showed my dog having difficulty walking, so I tried to contact her. No response. When she did respond to email about other problems that SHE felt she was having with the dogs stay, she was accusatory & extremely rude (mind you my dog is a sweet old pup!). Being out of state, I absolutely panicked! I cried the entire evening before I was able to pick my dog up...hoping I wouldn't have any more problems with the owner. I arrived exactly on time (owner demand) paid cash (another unexpected demand) & was almost denied pick up because I was " a few minutes early".

After speaking to my vet & neighbors, my experience is not unique. If I had the authority, I would shut this place down. I have never felt so strongly about anything in my life!

I love bringing my two dogs to aaa pet resort. They love getting to run all day, and having all the other dogs to play with. Lynda and her staff put the care, and needs of the animals first. The property and the buildings are clean and well cared for. I would recommend this place to anyone

Oh my goodness, I am so glad I searched the reviews. I'm not alone. This woman is beyond terrible. I belive she may have escaped from the crazy house! My poor dog stayed with her for 2 nights and I have nothing but regret. It was a horrible experience, much like the rest of you have had.
Please save yourself some heartache and go elsewhere. She is a terrible person trying to make money by taking "care" of dogs - but it's so abusive and dirty there .

My chihuahua was attacked and killed while boarding at AAA Pet Resort. Lynda called me and said she found my chihuahua sleeping motionless by his bed in the morning, deny knowing anything about the attack, deny any responsibility, claiming no sign of trauma and no blood, denying cleaning up my dog before giving him back to me. Then she claimed Zippy's fur was wet because some other dog lick him, it's saliva and she demand a saliva test. Are you kidding me??? Within 15 minutes of lying my dog at the vet's table, blood was oozing out from his nose, mouth, and wounds. There are 2 big puncture wound on each side of his legs, so deep that it punctured his flank and intestines. His back ribs were broken in 5 places and lung punctured. Lynda also claimed she tried to do a CPR. If that is the case, blood will spill all over. Their policy is all small dogs sleep inside and all big dogs sleep outside. Lynda claimed Zippy was found inside sleeping by his bed. I asked then which dog is sleeping inside with Zippy which is against their policy. Lynda refused to answer. She screamed and yelled at me about accusing her of covering up, lying, and gross negligence. How can a business that is dishonest and can't tell the truth be allowed to operate in this town?

After the news story, Lynda now said Zippy was left outside with the big dogs at night. Put a blame on one of the employee that she said no longer works there but will not give me the last name. Said probably happen between 3am to 5am, but still claim there was no blood or trauma. Seriously? For the amount of internal bleeding Zippy had, he was probably lying in a pool of blood when they found him.

This kennel needs to be shut down! The owner is not only rude and obnoxious but it's be said she sends her employees to buy alcohol for her of which she abuses. The employees are part time, 4-6 hrs a day. Before the employees leave, the dogs are left in their kennels until next day when employees arrive at 8:00am. So the dogs are left in the care of the owner who is incapacitated by alcohol. The videos do not depict the whole story. RIP Zippy😇
