This is probably the same guy who threatened to kill a rabbit earlier this year so a customer would buy it. The owner of this place was arrested about a year ago for trying to sell a protected animal as well. This is not a legitimate business, stay away from there.

I am 11 years old every time me and my friend went to Pete Roses we stopped at Dark Forest afterward. My friend introduced me to the place and I always enjoyed looking at the animals and Brian even let me hold a baby skunk. Brian actually seemed like a good guy. It's too bad he's a animal abuser. All those little animals wanting to get out no wonder why.

Oh give me a break! Brian is the coolest guy ever! Sam and Amanda were lying about the whole thing. It never happened, and I don't see why the cops belived two 14 year old girls over him. Such a shame what our justice system has become.

Dark Forest has such a bad reputation that I have actually heard about animal abuse from a customer there before ever hearing about this.
Apparently they also throw rats against the walls to "stun" them. They should just shut the whole place down.

Last night I dreamt the former owner of Dark Forest reptiles dressed up like a rabbit. He was hiding in the bushes and he jumped out and punched two 14 year old girls. It was like reven
ge of the rabbits. It was soooo surreal.

Everything bad that people say about Dark Forest is a lie. Yes, they did kill rats and mice to feed to snakes and such, but it is because they didn't want the rats and mice to hurt the animals that cant fight back that they were being fed to. Would you want your expensive non-constrictor snake to be bitten and scratched at by a feeder rat? I surely wouldn't. Dark Forest was alsways the best reptile store in a 50 mile radius of my house and i always drove out of my way to get top quality reptiles from their store. I just wish they hadn't shut down. I have to go to Mark's Ark for my reptile necessities now, and they're way over-priced and the animals aret even close to how amazing they were treated at Dark Forest.

You people are morons. It's normal to kill mice before feeding it to your snake EVERYBODY does it. You smack the mouse against the enclosure so it doesn't hurt the snake that's going to eat it. Some people obviously know nothing about the reptile trade. This guy is innocent and should be set free.

Me being a owner of breeder snakes myself I think this story is bullshit!!! I went into dark forest 6 days a week to get supplies and food. The guys there has always been helpfull and very knowledgeable on all the animal..and in fact u do have to stun the mice when feeding them live. All my snakes are live feeders and all there food is stunned before fed to ensure my snake dosent get bit or scratched. The problem with that is the girls shouldn't have even been in the feeder room.. Brian is a close friend and good guy but a lil on the "out there" side.lol and for boynton cops. Hahaha what a joke!! There's people out there getting shot and robbed and all they have to worry about is fucking mice. I say.. Tell the crying bitches to go play with barbie dolls and stay out of snake shops, FREE BRIAN (or take the 150,000 other people that do it :) GL) and tell boynton authority to go fuck them selves and worry about real problem. Just my thought :)

Wait a second...this whole story just does not sound right. As a reptile owner, there are times when my snakes (one in particular) do not eat and I have to assist feed them. Before trying to assist the snake I must kill the mouse/rat to keep it from biting/scratching my snake. Also, if this guy has two brain cells he will be able to find an attorney to adequately defend him. Let me state this for the record: I am not in no way shape or form advocating for animal cruely. EVER. My thoughts are just that maybe this is a misunderstanding and the two children involved are either (1) not being truthful or (2) do not have all the facts.
Just a thought.
