Request for dismissal denied in dead baby case
A request by Emma Clemens' attorney to dismiss the felony charges against the Boyne City woman for leaving her baby in a backpack and attempting to bury it were denied in court last week.

Thank goodness it was turned over. Should'nt be denied or dropped.Drunk drivers get stiffer sentences.Charges to stiff for disposing of a baby ? really ? COME ON.. She's 22 years old. She knew what she did was wrong.No excuse for her actions and "she was scared and didnt know what to do" dont count !!! To many baby killers and buring stillborn babies going on in Northern MI. If these girls "and guys" are made example of maybe it will stop !!!
