Does anybody know why the price of an item changes when I go to another computer, and my daughter logs into Amazon, she sees a lower price for an item?(She lives in another town).

Are they profiling my buying habits, and because I've bought an item before, they think I'm more likely to buy it again, and hence "raise the Price"?

I know google, an yahoo track your search history, and market it to retailers. Has anyone else had this experience? Is it legal?
