It's a heart breaking story as his mother worked practically 24/7 to provide for the family & maintain a somewhat stable environment. Obviously it didn't matter to him. Ungrateful.

this kid had so many second third up to twenty chances but bounced in n out of every area facility from local jail to state prison,and abused every chance he was given. he had a step-father who struggled hard to maintain some sense of order,but this kid AND his mother through their actions AND inactions caused this to be impossible to achieve.He also totaled his own mother's vehicle 2 yrs ago,has 2 illegitimate children born from brainless idiots,trashed his family's house to the tune of 3-5k in damages,stolen from anyone he could,and has never said he was sorry for ANYTHING,to my knowledge. He made his own bed,after shitting on not only those who helped him,but more importantly on his OWN family ! Now he can waste away in prison instead of out here amongst a society whose majority work hard to lead productive lives and teach their kids right and wrong. Better this ingrate,selfish bastard be where he is. He took 2 lives and will now pay whatever price he is forced to pay,which more than likely will be AT LEAST 17 yrs.

I haven't talked to Jamie in a long time. We were good friends at one time. I know that he had gotten into some trouble, but I don't feel I should judge what he's done.

I feel very badly for the loss of two lives and the families who will forever mourn this senseless tragedy. This is also a tragedy for Jamie. I knew him and from what I know he is a very tortured soul. If he had gotten the attention and love he needed as a young boy I wonder if two more people would be alive today. Maybe, maybe not. yes jamie has issues and now that he is in prison and realizes that he has commited the ultimate crime, he also is facing the affects of his actions. He now realizes this is a time to forgive and forget and is trying to make peace with people he has hurt,but it is a sad thing that it took 2 people's lives to make him realize he did wrong in his life. My question is.....if he got out, would he go back to his old ways? maybe this is a wake up call that turned into a nightmare. I loved jamie just as few have, and now all I have left of him is a few letters a month repeatedly asking for forgiveness and trying to make mends, but, i feel as if he's lying, just as he was before, and if it weren't for the fact that he lied to me before, i would probably believe him now. Let's just hope and pray that he does change and if and when he get's out, he remembers and honors those who stuck by his side, no matter how he treated them.

I am a true friend of Jamie's and all you people sitting there talking shit need to stop. Yeah, he made lots of mistakes when he was younger but so has everyone else...some just make bigger ones than others. Jamie and I keep in contact through letters right now and I can tell you that he is truely sorry for everything that has happened and it CRUSHES him to be away from his kids. He is a loving father and a true friend. He has told me sorry before so whoever said he never has..that's a bold face lie. I also talk to his brother that is only a few years younger and it has him torn apart. Jamie doesnt want to be locked up and is taking this time to re-evaluate where his life could go if they let him out. I dont think he'd go back to his old ways at all.

I have heard a lot of rumors about Jamie so I decided to search for myself. I hung out with Jamie alot in 1994/1995, he got in to a lot of trouble then but he had such a good heart. He didn't get a long with his step-father and his mother seemed to have a lot of issues. Jamie never got the love or support he needed from a family. I am very sad to hear that his life has taken this route. My thoughts and prayers are for you Jamie..I know deep down inside you are a good person who just made some bad choices...you were always a good friend to me!!!
