Boyertown Borough Council need not take offense at my accusation that they are once again involved in a “willy-nilly” decision making process that can only harm the Borough of Boyertown and its residents.
However, since they fail to understand the term and take offense, please allow me to state that they are acting “irresponsibly” once again by attempting to dismantle an essential element of Boyertown Borough Enforcement affecting public safety and welfare.
Many residents and visitors have complained about Boyertown’s appearance given the weeds, sidewalks, and unkempt buildings posing a hazard to all.
The Borough’s response to these complaints has been to “selectively” and “discriminately” cite individuals to set an example for others; however, such conduct is unfair given the fact that it is based upon selective discrimination without a broad application to all and is contrary to our Constitutional Form of Government.
It is often stated that a fish rots from the head down. When this concept is applied to Boyertown’s Government, it can be said that Boyertown’s obvious decline means that its leadership is the root cause.
