AJ is a former classmate of Michael Fresch from Greenvalley Elementary in NRH. We remember Michael and his family and enjoyed our friendship with them. Michael was a an extremely loving and pleasant young boy who no doubt grew up to be a wonderful young man. We are saddened to hear of this tragedy, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the family of the other students.

I travel that the county road twice a day
and this morning I saw the accident site.
It is very saddening to know what happened to those kids.
I have had a near head on collision where the accident site is.
My Dad told me something when I was starting to drive and it has stuck with me ever since-
Speed Kills !
My heart goes out to the friends and family
of those who lost their lives.
May God Bless

Shame on the parents for letting their children out that late at night; especially the 14 year old. Are you kidding me??? Letting a 14 year old out overnight for a party.

I do not know the circumstances on what these were doing, that is not necessarily my business, but I do wonder Why? Why, were they out that late? It scares me to see things like this happening around w/our teenagers, they have no fear; authority, parents, or for the consequences for actions. I remember doing things as a teenager and look back and realize the stupidity of it. You live your learn, but
some of these precious children do not get a chance to learn. Their lives are cute short. I lost 3 friends at 3 different times as a teenager, I am now 40 yrs old, and I still remember things like it was yesterday. I wish our children would just slow down, they do not have to grow up so fast. This is a tragedy where there is no words that can help. I'm sorry for the families and their loss.

It is very sad what happened to these teenagers. I live in Wise County and have been down that road many a time myself. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I do agree with previous posts, I wonder where the parents were at during this time. I know as teenagers we ALL have been to a party or two, but there were also parents somewhere close. They were coming back from a party, and I wonder how ANY parent could allow alcohol to be at a party where minors were present.. Where were the parents at this party, especially at 4am???? It is to late to place blame, we can only hope a lesson has been learned from this horrible accident. Unfortunately, the lesson came with a high price.

Don't be so quick to judge friends. We do not know whether the parents knew if the children were out. I have already began telling my 11 year old son that if fatal car accidents happen they always seem to be after 11:00 am. I agree with all you'll what are 14 or for that matter 17 year old children out at 4:00 am in the morning, but how do we know whether the parents were aware. I pray for all the families and for my own that my children will heed my repetitive counseling about driving!! Amen

I personally know Michael's family. They are warm, wonderful and caring people. There family is very close knit and they did not know the kids were out that late. It's the old story everyone played as a teen...Im staying at Ryans house, and then Ryan is saying he is staying at Michaels. These families do not deserve to be made to feel like they are bad parents. The kids made a HUGE mistake and every teenager should learn from it!

These parents have suffered an incredible loss...Only by the grace of God do any of us get through the "teen years" without incident. It is so cruel for any one person to judge these parents without personal knowledge. Every parent knows that kids do some pretty irresponsible things...sometimes with tragic consequences. So for those few perfect parents above....be very careful on that pedestal it might just get kicked out from under you too....

I was Morgan Moss's cousin and her parents did not know she was at a party. She was supposed to be going to a movie and spending the night at her friend's house. Don't be so quick to judge someone without all the facts.

the parents really can't be blamed for this. nobody can be blamed for this. it was nobody's fault. their lives were taken by the grace of God. they are in a better place now.
I was close to both Michael and Ryan.
and its hard.
it was 4 weeks ago.. i was sitting at michaels w/ him and ryan. and another friend.. and we were all sitting there...watching a movie having a good time.
its been two weeks now since the accident. and they are all i can think about.
its not supposed to be this way. parents aren't supposed to bury their children. the children are supposed to bury their parents.

Their parents did not know they went to the party.. if they would have known..then they wouldn't have gone to the party.
because both of their families are the most loving families you will ever meet. both Ryan's and Michaels. They are so amazing. and to hear some of these people say. "SHAME ON THE PARENTS". i can't take that. please. don't judge.

RIP
Michael and Ryan
I love and miss you. so much
