Fisher was named Outstanding Educator of the Year by the Greater Menomonie Area of Chamber of Commerce? This is a characteristically distorted version of the truth. Every year the Menomonie Chamber recognizes honor students and educators selected by their colleagues in each area high school at a banquet. Thus, Fisher was Boyceville High School's Educator of the Year.

What did Mr. Fischer do that your school is so glad to see him go?

He's a bald faced liar for starters. He's also incompetent. He will absolutely not be able to handle the job he's been hired to do, but will spend his time covering up rather than trying to do it. He is a very manipulative person, so you will probably not catch on to him right away. He knows how to build a power base, but by the time he left his job in Boyceville, most saw him for what he was and many hated his guts.

He was a gutless wonder when it came to discipline at the high school. The place is a zoo. He thought he should be the students' friend, but most laughed at him behind his back. He's a shallow person who does not follow through with anything he starts. Never take him at his word, because he says whatever is expedient at the time. I doubt that he has the ability or knowledge necessary to be a superintendent.

Wow! I'm sick to my stomache. He sounds too much like the last administrator we had. I don't even know what to say. I was very excited at the thoughts of a new adm. and a fresh start for our school, students and staff. Do you have anything good to say about him? I'm totally bummmed.

Hmm...something good. He's an optimist and puts a positive spin on everything. He values loyalty, so if you're a staff member and can suck up to him and make him look good, you may have it made in the shade. His philosophy is that the end justifies the means, so if you want the same thing he does and don't care how it's accomplished you may see that as a strength.

b.r. is right about no discipline in the h.s. And he always says that what gets talked about gets done, but that's all he does is talk. Things don't get done.

Expect him to bail as soon as he can find another position. And watch how much time he actually spends on the job.

Is it true that he's been given a three year contract? If so, apparently Elcho and White Lake school boards have no more respect for Wisconsin law than Fisher does. Statute188.24 says administrators shall be given a contract not to exceed two years!
