Check on child results in drug charges

Canon Police Chief James Carney, is on the job and busy making some drug busts. Chief Carney, responding to a request for a juvenile welfare check at 144 Church Street in Canon, arrested Troy Cecil Fleeman, 45, ... via Franklin County Citizen

This is just another case where the Chief is showing the drug users in the area he will not stand for it. If you followed this case the man was hiding his drugs in the childs bedroom. I guess that makes the "Chief" a bad guy here too! Please I'm sick of all you saying you want someone to do something about the crime in tne area, and when someone really dose it you blast him like he's the bad guy. Get over it, he's doing a good job!

This certainly didn't occur in Elbert County. The DFCS director is to busy running to her beauty salon appt to worry about children!!

This is proven by two dead children in Bowman Georgia where a mother plead guilty of killing her 10 yo child and still has custody of her remaining child!!

Only in Elbert County can corruption run rampant without repercussion!!

I heard about that. Its a shame. I have always thought that DFCS was a stand up department. I know that a few can mess up a departments history of good work, but when your dealing with children you alway move towards the side of safety for the children first. My understanding was that the case worker just didn't do her job!!!
