Grand jury indictments

Why are Caroline county's grand jury indictments not made public as are the counties around us? Yesterday, the grand jury indicted several people including the man who was arrested in Aug. who's girlfriend got a year and a half. It is in the public's best interest as sometimes new witnesses will come forth. The people of the county would like to know what is going on with the prosecutor's office. The sheriff's dept. publishes it's activity report. You would think that the commonwealth attorney's office would make sure these indictments are made public with the local media.
