Standard gay-rights activist journalism. The town in question is Ohio's equivalent of Berkeley. No other part of Ohio was involved.
Note the overall theme of the article, that "gay rights" (meaning the activist agenda) is inevitable, that anything else will be a historical curiosity.
And, keep in mind that the Ohio university, as well as many others, uses factors such as "diversity" and "activism" when admitting students or selecting faculty, thereby skewing the academic community far more to the left than in the population of equally intelligent cohorts.
Journalism: Anyone can do it. Even J-major Sarah Palin.
