Anyone else agree that the new exit 22 exchange design is completely horrible? Whoever designed that piece of crap should be ashamed. I see many accidents there in the near future.

That type of interchanges is about as safe as an interchanges can be. There is nothing wrong with it. If it scares you, stay off the road.

Doesn't scare me. But the crossing is waaaaay too wide. If somebody goes thru a yellow light they wont even be half way thru the intersection b4 the other direction turns green. Plus, when ur coming from Scottsville Rd towards Scottsville and u come to the light b4 going over the interstate, u can see 2 different sets of stop lights facing u. That can be very confusing to inexperienced drivers, especially close to a high school. Also, getting off I65 South and turning right, the curve is way too sharp. And not having barriers there and a VERY steep drop can have disastrous results on wet days. Oh, and I wont mention coming from Hardees on Cumberland Trace and getting on I65 North, u have 3 lanes of traffic merging into 1 lane. What a horrible design. Pitiful.

I live nearby and like it much better than the old one. Not sure what the complaint is about.

Oh I just noticed the screen name for the whiner. That explains their confusion. First person I've known to complain about something that fixed a huge traffic problem.

Ah, so the screen name indicates something. Another person passing judgement. Do some research on the screen name if ur so interested. There have been lots of complaints about this intersection. Just wait until the accidents start happening.

I think if the entrances and exits going on/off the ramps were more of a right angle, I'd like it better. Having a wide turn in both directions makes more cars stay in the middle of the road for a longer period of time. People who run yellow lights will create more anxiety from other drivers b/c they'll have to wait for the car to finally get thru the intersection, even tho their own light is green by that time.

Bud get off the Bud. The interchange has the flow of traffic 100% better than it was and the on and off ramps are great.

Yeah, it's so much better now that's why it still takes 30 fk'n minutes to get from White Castle to Culver's..

I've driven there several times & it's a crazy design. Have you guys even thought about what "Bud-smokers-only" has said??? Read his comments again! They make sense & are real issues with the design of that area!

It is a mess. The 3 lanes coming over the bridge, with the 3rd lane meant for right turn only are a joke, every morning a bunch of idiots get in that lane and then cut us off. It says RIGHT TURN only lane, they use it to get infront of the line of traffic.

It is all a bit confusing, with all the white lines etc. Especially for out-of-towners who travel it for the first time. I've seen a BIG jam up on this bridge already. I do agree with the less traffic lights the better, cause it takes an hour to get from one end of town to the other, but it really is a big accident/s waiting to happen at the 22.

It was a task figuring out turning left to get on I65 south coming from sScottsville. The ramp is 1/2 mile ahead of the light.

There is a BIG electronic sign thats says RIGHT LANE FOR RIGHT TURN ONLY, you cant miss it, I think they are well aware it is for right turn only and just want to get ahead of the line of traffic.
