Why would two constables get involved in a high speed pursuit when there was logan and warren county sheriff depts along with ksp involved in the chase. These other agencies have been trained how to handle these types of situations. The constables want to help out I'm sure, but they have only been constables for a few months and probably don't have the proper training.

What's your opinions?

Like it or not constables are law enforcement officers by statute. They are well within their scope of power to pursue. Many constables have attended the emergency vehicle operations class. It truly sounds like someone is jealous that constables have the same powers as those officers that go through the academy.

What's your opinions?
Why would KSP be involved if Logan Co, Warren Co Sheriffs & Constables are involved? Why would Warren Co Sheriffs be involved if the Constables, Logan Co Sheriffs & KSP are involved? And so on, and so on. Who started the pursuit? I'd say the other agencies joined in because that's what they're sworn to do. Good guys are supposed to catch bad guys. As far as training, do you realize that quite a few Constables had full police careers prior to becoming Constables? So a 6 month Constable could more than likely be a 20-25 year police officer. I'll take that experience ANY day. You mentioned the word "probably" in your reflection of their training. That's pretty indicitive of that being your "guess". WRONG. I'm not a constable, nor have I ever been one. But I know that with all the BS and thugs hanging around this city/county, I'm glad to see as many good people behind badges as we can get. And for all of them in this pursuit (of which I know zero about), I'd like to say thank you to all of them for working together toward the accomplishment of one common goal. More specifically, thank you to the Constables for stepping up to the plate in this case, and not taking a back seat to anyone. Now, I'm ready to hear others bash me for being pro law enforcement / pro Constable. Go for it...

You appear to have a jealous streak running pretty deep. I wonder about 1) Who arrested you, or 2) Which police departments did you fill out applications for and get turned down. sounds like you have an ax to grind with law enforcement and can lend no credible input on this thread. Not to worry though. I saw 2 other threads in which homosexuality was the topic of discussion. Maybe you can have some valuable input there. The voice of experience always speaks loudest.

I have met the 2 constables in question on this thread. Brandon Bradshaw and his dad Anthony(Troy)Bradshaw. They are seem like good guys. HOWEVER, Brandon was appointed by Mike Buchanan to fill the vacancy of Charles Russell. He has been appointed just a few months, not enough time to get the training to react in a high speed pursuit.

The pursuit started in Logan County with Logan County Sheriff and KSP joined in. Warren County Sheriff joined in once they reached Warren County line. So there was Logan County, Warren County, and Kentucky State Police in a pursuit, so why did 2 untrained constables join in???

HUGE liability issue there. Thankfully they didn't cause an accident or be in an accident. The pursuit went from Russellville Road, onto the Natcher Parkway, then onto I-65 North. It finally ended just south of Cave City, in Barren County.

Did any of the other Warren County Constables join in??? NOPE! Another bad mark for Warren County Constables. They need to think before acting.

I used to be bothered by people like you. But then I started worrying about bigger and better things, like tying my own shoes. Why don't you lay that fat pencil down, get off mommie's computer, and go lick the windows on the front of the daycare you spend most of your time at. Instead of bashing those you can only hope to be like, go make a nice flower pot out of that empty milk carton. When you get bigger you can join the Cub Scouts and get a start on the right path of life. until then, it's past your nap time. Go get your woobie and your num num and wait for the sand man. Leave adult conversation to the grown folks.

I am not about to knock these guys for there work, BUT constables, volunteer fire and rescue. They give them radios and a set of yellow lights and say, when we call, you can quit what you are doing and drive really, really fast! It's like putting a kid in toyz R Us with a empty basket and saying GO! I just think there should be either (A) more traing required. or (B) more limitations on self made decisions to intervein.

Are you really going to disrespect ALL constables and ALL volunteer firefighters just because a few act like idiots. I know for a fact, not all volunteer firefighter run RED lights and sirens on personal vehicles, in fact, some chiefs highly frown upon it, and rarely grant permission to do so, mainly because of the liability issue and the lack of experience of some people.

Not even close. maybe you should read before you ooze hatered. I think a few (as in with any position on any job) take advantage and are only out for the thrill. most are very serious and all are helpful. but they shoulldnt put there families savings in a $40,000 4x4 w/20 lights and 10 antenea.just to rush out there. they should be called in as needed, not fly off to every occasion just because they can. No knocks on them, remember?

As it stands right now, what ~training~ is required and what ~policies~ are in place for these positions you are referring to?

Oooooh, that come back was right up there with "oh yeah!". The way you threw that anal sex thing in there was genius. That's never been brought up before. Where do you get such contemporary, original material? Higher education has really paid off for you.

I don't lose sleep over idiots like you. Your kind puts me to sleep. Frankly, you're boring. Tell momie it's your bed time.
