I call bullshit. Why in gods name would someone as talented as robert plant play with hacks? Much less turn down a tour with zepplin to play in bowling green ky? Don't believe this for a sec. If it is a guy named robert plant it is not the robert plant of led zepplin fame. I seriously doubt Mr. Plant has ever heard of bowling green, ky. Get real people.

Perhaps you are a moron, or maybe just have absolutely no clue about music. Robert plant has already done an album with Allison Krause and she is much less accomplished than this line up. Let's start with Sam Bush.
Sam has played with just about everybody. He has multiple Grammys and Gibson honored him with a Sam bush model mandolin. Not to mention he's widely considered the best mandolin player in the world.
John Cowan besides being a good bassist, has an incredible voice and again there is not much of a shortage to his resume.
Greg has played with everybody from Billy Gibbons, to Warren Haynes, to Albert Collins. Gibson has honored him with a Greg Martin model les Paul. He spent time as a guitar player for Lynard Skynyrd. Has Grammies, and billboard hits he cowrote with the ky headhunters
Hillbilly, I have no idea, I have not heard him play much. But he is a nice guy and has been and awesome guy to see in the crowd when I've been playing music.
Maybe look and find out who you are talking about before you call someone a hack. Greg for one is one of the best les Paul players in the world...period. And if you can't see that, you obviously don't play music.

By the way, I have no idea if this is true or not, but knowing the talent and history of these guys, It certainly wouldn't surprize me.

I have known Jim my whole life and he is a very talented musician. I have no idea if this is true, but I seriously doubt he would go back into playing. He still does some promotional work for wrestling. He played music with my father, and he is very talented.

Alison has won 27 Grammy Awards from 41 nominations, making her the most awarded living recipient. She is also the most awarded singer and the most awarded female artist in Grammy history. I wouldn't call her less accomplished by any means.

Being the best mandolin player in the world is almost as significant as being the the best horseshoe player in the world.
