Sounds like a good family restaurant with a sports bar side. I've heard very good things about it and eccentric items on the menu, however it sounds a little copy cat to the newly opened restaurant Mister B's. They both seem to offer a variety of fried items. Mister B's has also offered fried oreos/twinkies since opening and Fry Daddys claimed to come up with the idea. I'll still be interested to check out Fry Daddys though! Sounds delicious

Fried oreos and twinkies have been a fair favorites for years, we don't claim to have come up with these items we just decided to offer them. Copy cat is a little harsh since we are family owned and operated as a matter of fact we have currently eight of the Lewis family working there now along with spouses and boyfriends of our family, not to mention we have had this concept on paper for over two years....best of luck to Mister B's but we are definitely not trying to copy anyone and I believe once you visit Fry Daddys you will see for yourself. And to Urban Spoon I would love some feed back after you visit we are striving to be the best at what we do, we will make some of the people happy some of the time but won't make everyone happy all the time but we sure can try...thanks to all for your interest and support see you on sat aug 4th...if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns I am one of the owners and you can speak directly to me or email me at [email protected] Thanks Again!

Do you have deep fried Prime Rib? Because that would be amazing. Deep fried Bacon? Also would be amazing. If I pay extra, can I get trans-fats?

I loved the pulled pork. The Cole slaw was not very good at all. It tasted like Mayo just Mayo . Other then that it was good.

to be honest with you man, I had a pretty bad experience the other night at fry daddy's. i didn't understand what the problem was but it sort of pissed me off because every other restaurant in town serves prime rib rare. Either way, I orderer your prime rib rare and a couple minutes later the dude in the back, the cook im guessing, came out and told us we couldn't order it rare. I asked why and the dude said it wasnt safe to eat it rare. I've been eating my prime rib and steaks rare my whole life and I have never had a SINGLE problem ordering that way until i ordered it at your restaurant. Also, in our conversation with the cook, he sort of mentioned that prime rib was pork and that sort of blew me away because any knowledgable person knows that prime rib is beef. the only reasons this could happen in this situation is A) you didnt have the raw or undercooked meat disclosure printed on the menu so you couldnt cook it that way or you would sued or B) the beef you are buying is not good quality beef. i dont know which one it is but either way i was seriously pissed and more than likely wont eat there again. im going to email you if you would like to talk to me about the situation because im not going to put my email up here but get back to me if you have any comments or anything about what happened.

I ordered wings at lunch. They were a good size compared to others in town. The problem is they were Luke warm. They did not just come out of the grease. If your going to have me come back you don't need to precook your wings and serve them cold.

They do not have any sports packages. I tried to give them a chance today but when I walked in the place was empty. No NFL package so i left. They will not be able to compete with places that offer all sports packages not just the local bs on cable. I give this place a few months before the name changes AGAIN!!!!. You cant make money unless you spend some. BTW overtime was packed with football fans.....

i was at fry daddys a couple nights ago and had my appetite completely ruined. The music wasn't loud and I could clearly hear things in the kitchen. mainly someone being loud and cursin the servers. i know that i as well as others were extremely put off. then this big lady comes slammin out of the kitchen, and i assume she was manager, if you could call her that. what a terrible person to work under. i tipped my waitress $10 simply because of that. i will never be back..

i completely agree. i love coleslaw and i could barely swallow this. it looked as bad as it tasted. the catfish was good, but considering the atmosphere their management created, i'll never return.

Lost River has all of the sports packages, including the college game day ticket and the NFL Package. Thursday night was hoppin and so was Saturday night for the T-O-P-S win. They have Pizza specials. A great happy Hour and $.50 wings that are up for best in BG and they are. Check em out but you better get there early.

Always a bunch of negative assholes on here. You never hear anything good written by anyone on topix. Bunch of angry little people with serious issues. If something was so wrong when you ate there you could of easily told the manager then and there, but you come on topix to bitch and moan. Annoying. Nothing is always going to be perfect people. Get over it. Ive never been to fry daddys but humans are just that: human! Give them a break or dont go back!!! Simple!!!

Or is it the competition feeling threatened?
