What the hell is that nasty disgusting stink coming from around the fields surrounding the Balance Farm? You can smell it most days around the Three Springs Rd and 31-W area, between Richpond & Woodburn. It's sickening!

it's called cow crap & fertilizer. It's sprayed across the ground several times a year for the crops to grow. It's not just the balance farms, but several farms. Sorry if it offended your delicate little nose, perhaps you should try working on a farm and smell where your dinner comes from
Quit complaining

Its called chicken litter. If you don't like it move. I just love how everyone moves to the country and then complains about the smells, the dust, etc that comes with it.

Yep. He owns nearly $2 million in property and still took 600,000 in taxpayer money for 2010.

It's time to clean out barns, and fertilize crops. The problem with growth is that people get closer to farms & agriculture. If you moved to the country....it's just one of those things you have to get over. The farms were there first.

I just want to know if what we're breathing is safe. If it is, fine. But I KNOW it's more than just chicken litter (ask anyone hauling it). I'd love more information.

If it was toxic EPA wouldn't let him use it dumb ass and if you think farmers are so greedy then quit buyin your food from the grocery n grow it your self then you'll see where they come from.... Do a lil more research an you'll find that the reason litter hasn't been used is cause its hard to get cow poop is not its rich in nitrogen n that is why it's being used....
