Does anybody know anything about the live in maintenance guy at Hillvue Heights Church. He creeps me out the way he acts around the children. I have my children in the church but dont know about this guy. He is the one with long grey hair and tie dyed shirts. Just let me know so I don't need to worry or should I?

You should really talk to someone at the church. Coming on here and even if you didn't mean anything by It could cost him everything because people will run with what you asked, By saying he is this and he is that. And then other Church members will talk and then make it hard for the man to keep his job over any accusations that were made about him over the net by people who don't even know him. The man might not feel real comfortable around alot of kids and may need some time. Like I said it would be so much better to talk to the Church and say to them what you said on here.
It's like standing 100 people in a line and the first person tells the 2nd person something and by the time it gets to the 100th person it is nothing like what you said to the 2nd person, People have a way of makiing things worse than what they are.

he is a good man, hard worker. he is up at day light.this i know cause of a bible study we have at 630 am.he lets us in.also that is a large church that needs a lot of caring for.this topix is only good for trying to destroy peoples life.he does have a job and is good at it.for what reason why you would even post this nonsense is far beyond me.he has been there for quite a while and i have never heard anything negative about him until now.i really hope your happy for trying to destroy a mans life that works and also has family too.maybe you should pray about it.or even better go to him and tell him he is freaking you out because of the way he dresses and has long gray hair.or maybe he just dont meet up to your standards.your such a great christian GOD BLESS YOU

That's exactly why I said that earlier, I am not saying ALL people who are on Topix are bad, BUT, I have seen enough on here to know by just saying what they did it will open up a can of worms, Then people at the Church will start talking and even though they are rumours it don't matter cause the damage is already done and can't go back to where it was.

He secretly works on the spaceship during the wee hours of the morning. The man may be the most intelligent human on the planet. Space alien babes have already tried to abduct him to father their children. Don't screw with this guy!

I love him! He is a great guy and is always there on site anytime anyone needs anything. When I heard the story of how he came to live there... wow! GOD IS GOOD and takes care of his people! It is a blessing for him as well as for the church to have him there. I've never seen anything to make me question him around my child. He is actually great with kids!

And thats all the original poster was looking for. He did not say anything about the guy doing anything. He just wanted a honest answer. Nice to see how quick people think it is a bad thing. The other posters who claim to be Christian were quick to judge. Maybe the guy was just looking out for his children.

That's why people I know quit going to church. If church people make it hard for someone because of a topix forum - i don't want to go to that church. JUDGMENTAL ALREADY

Without church membership it will be too expensive to participate in the lunar outpost mission. you should reconsider.

I work in the restaurant industry. I gave up working Sundays years ago due to the church crowd rush. Most, not all, but nearly 80% of the church crowd are the most rude, inconsiderate, cheap, most demanding people I deal with on a regular basis.

Funny how you all get out of church, go out to eat and give the server a hell of a time. I think you all fake and if that is how "CHRISTIANS" conduct themselves out of church, I don't wanna be any part of it.

Also, a 10% tip is not acceptable.

While you should never over ride your instinct,( God gave you instinct to protect yourself and your children), you shouldn't falsely accuse or cast doubt on the character of anyone due to an unproven suspicion. The Kentucky State Police have a registered sex offenders Webb site where you can check to see who is living in your neighborhood that may be a risk to children. Jesus told his Apostles when he sent them out to preach to all the world, "Be ye wise as Serpents and harmless as Doves".

Steve Ayers wouldn't allow that man to "live in" if there were any reason to believe that he was anything close to what was posted above....

Then they should not have implied that he was "creepy". Should have stopped at the first sentence.

Seawolf, I don't blame you for asking this. I used to attend HHC and was not comfortable around him. That doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with him, but I felt the same way. It is never wrong to try to protect your kids.

I attend HH, have observed and worked with this fellow....actually a very hard worker and nothing but positives to say...he is gregarious and lively, just a good natured fellow and can assure you he has been well scrutinized by the staff....a win-win situation for he and church....don't be afraid to introduce yourself to him, quite approachable and loyal..
