Seriously, does anyone have any information on a drug interventionist here or around BowlingGreen? I have a family member who needs to get help and I am trying to find something like what has been on TV. Our biggest problem is he has no health insurance. We know if we could do something like they do on the show he will go for the help, but because of the insurance reason, he just won't walk into somewhere. I know a drug addict has to want help, and we believe he is ready, we just need to let him know we mean business and need a professional to help us. Yes I did write to the show as well as others. Please don't put stupid messages on here, I am very serious and just need real help. Thanks a bunch
sorry..

Try Stepworks @1-888-982-1244,there is one located in Elizabethtown. I am sure that they can help answer your questions. The family member that you are trying to help is very lucky to have you. Please don't give up there are programs out there. May God Bless your family as well as you too!

Thank you all so very much for your information I will try everyone of them. I pray I can get him the help before something bad happens, I cannot believe how drugs can take a person and make them someone so different. My loved one has a heart of gold and now is so mean and angry and not the person I know...God knows I am trying to do something...

Former addict of 9 years in recovery for 7, I would be more then happy to talk to the person about how bad life is on drugs (even though we dont seem to realize it) and how great life is sober! I also have a family member who works at a crisis unit who would be more then happy to come along with me and talk to him as well and let him know there are places available to help

Volta has a great treatment program that is based on income so if he has no income then it's free. It's a tough program, he has to WANT sobriety or no place will help. I went to volta & still sober 3 yrs later but I wanted to get sober! Good luck! Btw volta is in Hopkinsville on western states campus but isn't associated w the mental hospital.
