No one, I suppose. That just happens to be an embarrassing, yet somewhat true part of our culture. See, I can admit that. Where did Muslim people get terrorism from? Oh, yeah, the KKK. I guess everyone really does mimic everyone else. Good or bad.

What you should be irritated at is stupid, ignorant individuals being stupid and ignorant. Take race and culture out of the equation and that's all you're left with. The average joe isn't going to know what the roots of a particular food, music style or dance is.

The last time I checked, White girls were running around trying to get "as dark as possible", risking their lives & getting skin cancer. Similar to this lady: http://www.csmonitor.com/var/ezflow_site/stor...
They also started to realize that they needed to catch up in the butt department DESPITE spending YEARS criticizing US from having big, juicy butts & claiming they were "too Black". Listen to Sir Mix-A-Lot's 'Baby Got Back'. Prime example of contradiction & hypocrisy. Now, this is what they've come up with: http://www.godammit.com/wp-content/uploads/20...

As far as skin lightening goes, Black women the only nor the biggest consumers in this market. It's actually a common trend amongst ALL "minorities", including Asians, Hispanics, etc. It's actually a $400 million a year business in India. Almost twice as much as Black women.
And since when is straight hair a "white" thing? At the most, Black women that do straighten their hair do it no more than once a week. I know plenty of white girls who straighten their hair EVERYDAY or every other day. So, who are they trying to be like? As far as girls who wear fake hair, majority of them wear INDIAN hair. If not, Malaysian. I've yet to see somebody with weave made from a white girl's hair. So, contrary to popular belief, they are NOT trying to be White.
White girls have to straighten their hair more because we have to wash it more than once a week. It doesn't keep for more than a few days. I am reading ignorant statements on both sides. This is ridiculous. You must be teenagers. In reality everyone is copying the Latin population in dancing, hair straightening, etc.

Beauty comes in all colors, white, tan, olive, gold, and brown. Beautiful hair is straight, curly, braided, whatever in all colors. Oh, and please, if you are not naturally tan, please stop doing it. Natural tans look great. Fake tans are bad for you and you look ridiculous to boot.

Well, I do agree that beauty isn't biased. I'm Black, I have long, curly Black hair, 5'3, 38E-24-48, caramel skin, & people tell me I'm beautiful everyday. One of my best friends is White, 5'10, slim, long, wavy brunette hair, & porcelain skin. She looks like a supermodel! I don't, however, think that everyone emulates Hispanic culture. Just like I don't think EVERYONE mimics the Black culture. I just have a problem with SOME of the people who do & act as if they're superior to the original. I also don't condone skin bleaching OR excessive tanning because they both are unhealthy &, as you said, unnatural. Many "ethnic" women (and men) bleach their skin to obtain a more "Western" (aka White) appearance and, largely, because they've been brainwashed to believe that somehow "looks better".

Its not just muslims that has terrorist that practice that religion. You cant blame the whole religion for something a couple people choose to do. Thats like saying all black people are drug dealers and gangbangers or all white people and meth heads and racist. I think your comments are pushing the racist side.

I didn't say ALL Muslim people. But, perhaps I should clarify my statement. Ever since 9/11, Muslim people endured a great deal of insulting, harassment, and, ironically, terrorism from ignorant people that assume they are all terrorists & unibombers. The very SAME people that invented oppression & terrorism (White people). Even though the White race has been responsible for the annihilation & destruction of just about every other race imaginable, when MOST people think "terrorist", they think Muslim. But, the first terrorists were White. That's seems to be about the only thing they WON'T take credit for.

As long as there are different races & cultures, there's always going to be differences in the way people perceive things, their ways of life, & most all, the way they look, act, cook, etc. So, it's virtually impossible to omit race as a factor in the things people do. The "average" person may not know the origin of certain things because someone came along & copied the original. Then, someone else came along & copied them. Each one may have added their own flavor/personality, but the fact remains: EVERYTHING has a creator. Regardless of what it may be, once something has been created, I feel as though it's ORIGINAL creator (not just it's modifiers) should be recognized. It only seems fair. It's really common courtesy, in my opinion.

Furthermore, my statement was not directed towards Muslim people. More so, the people that like to call them "evil" & tell them they're going to hell. The KKK have been harassing people for over 100 years, but I've yet to see any sophisticated stings being implemented to apprehend them. Certain people view them just like Black or Hispanic people. NONE OF US can do something as simple as go to a store without being watched or followed. Perfect example: James Holmes, the scumbag who infamously murdered several people & seriously injured over 70. He actually went into a store & bought an arsenal of weapons. As if that weren't enough, he ordered over 90 packages from FedEx containing dangerous explosives to make bombs. Now, you mean to tell me that he could display that much CLEARLY disturbed behavior, no one thought HE was "suspicious"? Yet, Trayvon Martin was wrongfully deemed this while walking down the sidewalk with iced tea & a bag of Skittles?! Now, if James Holmes were named Jamal Muhammad, I'm sure he wouldn't have to 2 seconds to even begin to execute his plan before SWAT, the FBI, state troopers, & the bomb squad were at his front door. So, please don't think I'm "racist" towards Muslim people or anyone else, for that matter. I just observe reality & some people don't seem to like that. If anything, I empathize with Muslim people. I'm Black AND a woman! If I can't, not many other people can.

Ok, so I just read that James Holmes purchased FOUR weapons, along with the 90 packages of explosives to take the lives of TWELVE, innocent people(including a little girl). I'm pretty sure this horrendous massacre could've had a 90% chance being prevented. But, as usual, people were probably too busy watching a "suspicious" Black, Muslim or Hispanic man just minding his own business. I wonder how many more tragedies like this have to occur before people realize that EVERYONE is capable of commiting a heinous crime?

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Leo

You need to vary your domestic routine slightly today to avoid feeling bored or restless, especially if the day threatens to be rather predictable. Think of ways to introduce a note of spontaneity into the proceedings, even if they're very minor, because they'll make you feel more lively and on the ball. If you're going shopping you'll be tempted by some impulse buys.
