i had nearly 900.00 dollars worth of work done on my brakes at firestone automotive on broadway ave in bowling green, and the brakes squealed took it back a total of eight times , they STILL squeal , firestones solution was to KEEP bringing it back to them, i even contacted the corporate office and NO ONE has followed up with me NOR are my breaks squeal free, i wouldnt recommend any type of work at firestone automotive on broadway ave, they are running a non responsible business, but if you choose to go there, i hope you have better LUCK than i have had, b/c thats just what it would be LUCK

they do good work for me. i used to have a car that did that. i never took it to firestone, but everyone told me it was in the break design for that car. it was a grand prix. jim johnsons did not do well servicing it, they would say they had it fixed but nope, and i had to pay more than the price quoted. that linda on the commercials is a beeeotch, and her husband is a dirty crooked guy who would sell his mother to the devil. he got katie autry's murderer off. after meeting that linda woman i bought a lincoln. no squeeky breaks now. i just wish i did not have to see her ugly face on the commercials. they should know she runs customers off.

I have always been pleased with Broadway Firestone's work as well. I have had numerous sets of tires, a set of brakes, etc. Nice people there too.

I got a set of tires there last year and they beat the hell out of one of my wheels and then suggested I buy a new one from them. There was nothing wrong with the wheel before they got their hands on it.

I have always had good luck with Firestone. They are friendly, have great service and don't overcharge. I have gone in there and they are one of the few places that will actually tell you that "you don't need that just yet". While your brakes squeak it could be by design. At least they are telling you to bring it back and they still look at it. They didn't tell you to shove it and get lost. Talk to Dave Hughes, he is a straight up guy and knows what he is talking about.

Well how many times should I take it BACK to them before they FIX the problem, I do feel that EIGHT times is fair enough to say, they should have fixed it. And furthermore the brakes did NOT squeak before I had them replaced, so theredfore I do not believe it is a design problem, yes Ihavebbn going there for twenty years for my auto services, but I feel it is ridiculous after EIGHT attempts to get it corrected only to be told if that does not fix it BRING IT BACK. Would just have been nice to know they gaurantee thier work and not make me feel as if thier workmanship is a guessing game. I have recommended Firestone tomany family and friends over the years, but never again will I take my vehicles in there nor suggest others do as well. Just stating my opinions, till it happens to you, GOOD LUCK.

bought tires, took 4 and a half hours to get them put on, and they were the wrong tires. I was so tired of waiting i didn't even gripe, just wanted to get the hell outta there. it was nice for them to give me a $600 estimate on front brakes. I didn't ask for an estimate on brakes.WTF is a $60 installation kit? brake pads, rotors, calipers, lines, installation kit...$800. the brakes i have now are working just fine, i will never go there again.

This place is a JOKE I had 4 tires put on and while taking the wheels off they broke a total of 8 studs and then David Hughes told me that they would replace them but he was leaving for the day then another guy told me they couldn't because they couldn't get the new studs in with out doing a lot of work so finally after a hour of arguing they put the wheels back on and told me I couldn't leave until it was fixed which was $2500.I told them they was crazy and drove away and fixed it myself for 30 buck this place is CRAZY

I went to Firestone for many years and had no problems. Then they changed mgt and went downhill. Spent a lot of money to fix problems and the problems continued. Went for oil, lube, filter, they told there were no problems but had a list on the paperwork. So I took it to another place to see if those problems existed and they said no but all fluids were low. Called main office with no results.

EXACTLY!!!! I have been in several local dealerships, and not ONCE have I ever seen a brake job that high. Even if the rotors need to be turned or replaced on top of the brake pads, its not that expensive. Go to AdvancedAuto and check prices on brake pads for your vehicle...you'll realize very quickly that you're being overcharged. And to the person who said they quoted you $2500 to replace some studs that they had broken off...I find that VERY hard to believe.

My wife took her car to Firestone to get 2 new tires. She left with 2 made in china tires and an estimate for 1300 in repairs the car didn't need.
I took the car back, told them to take the Chinese tires off and show me the needed repairs. I got better tires and no explanation on the estimate.
They seem to be in business to rip off whomever they can. The $900 brake job above is an example. I would stay far away from them.

You get what u pay for. If you try to go cheap they are going to present made in China tires silly. As far as the work that needs to be done o. A car/truck ect. Is found while doing the free inspection. If they find problems they are gonna let you know. It doesn't mean it needs work now could be in the future but its you're decision to get it fixed. I would suggest calling around and doing a price compare to other auto places. Its all the same. Firestone does great work. I recommend the one they call DT. He's the best and knows what he's doing especially when it comes to brakes IR troubleshooting.

What a dork. Did u have aftermarket wheels maybe that was you're problem. I think the joke was on you. There is no way it would cost that much. I have had studs replaced there before many times...they always pay for what they brake IF they break anything. Also...You apparently didn't care about the safe ride home.

I own a repair shop and the reason the brakes squeal is they are a lower quality brake pad which they are known to use. They could have taken care of this if they would.
